If possible don't come in the hottest months of the year which are March April and May. On top of that, the air quality is terrible. Download app to check air quality before you come. Its the worst in the world now, unbelievable . Be carful Chiang mai has changed quite a lot compare to several years ago. Maybe because of the impact from Pandemic or inflation. Our trip to Chiang Mai was good. Enjoyed our stay at the Kum Phaya resort. The resort was amazing and the staff were friendly. The resort organises Cultural show and dinner which was not published in Booking.com. We came to know about it at the reception. Had we known about it we would have booked the cultural show and dinner at our Resort, rather than travelling by taxi to the Old Chiang Mai cultural centre. In my view this should be promoted in booking.com. We have not completed our tour and hence unable to comment further.
