the good things I can say is that the staff is very friendly and it's private. There is a small indoor terrace from which you can dive into the pool. But the pool is very small.

Enjoyed having breakfast & drinks at the beach. The weather was good, but a little cloudy in November. It was very busy with tourists, especially when a cruise ship was in. The traffic was very busy most days. Little Prince Indian & Red Tuna restaurants were both excellent, & good value for money.

Phuket is a very beautiful place, and the people are super friendly with tourists. The beaches are nice, but if you have the chance, I’d definitely recommend exploring the islands. I think it’s a great spot to spend a few days and soak in the vibe of Thailand, but if your goal is to experience stunning beaches, I’d recommend focusing on the islands instead.
On the other hand, Phuket's downtown is lovely at night, but if you’re staying in that area, you’ll need to travel at least 30 minutes to get to the beaches. This can be a bit inconvenient, as you’ll end up spending at least an hour of your day just commuting back and forth.

Avoid Kata and Karon beach. Overly crowded and hyped.
Avoid Kata and Karon beach. Overly crowded and hyped. Much more beautiful beaches are 15-20mins drive away up north along the west coast of Phuket. Everything in Phuket old town is overpriced. Narrow streets everywhere make moving around frustrating particularly in a car. Traffic moves annoyingly slowly often requiring you to wait at a traffic light for 10mins. Best way to enjoy Phuket is to avoid the city and overcrowded beaches. Take trips to Phang Nga bay, explore the islands. Drive up north to Khao Sok, enjoy the nature. Explore banana beach, Mai Khao beach for beautiful aircraft landing views, coconut beach for some nice sunbathing. Leave the southern part of Phuket to the party goers.

While I'm not typically into city tours, I do enjoy certain activities like boat tours to islands, jetski rentals, and visiting parks. During my stay in Phuket, I had the chance to experience some fantastic boat tours, including a trip to Phi Phi Island and a few other beautiful islands around Phuket. The boat tours were an incredible way to explore the surrounding natural beauty, and I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure. It was the perfect combination of relaxation and excitement! If you’re into outdoor activities and exploring beautiful islands, I highly recommend these tours.

Great market on a Sunday from 4pm with lots of street food thats tasty and affordable. Nice restaurants around and felt very safe. Good places to try a massage too. Less chaotic than Patong and suitable for kids and seniors than Patong I would add.

The traffic lights are not for pedestrians, you just have to follow the locals and force your way across. This and the amount of parked vehicles makes it harder to walk along the streets, but the experience is rewarding despite the challenges! Bustling with life and very interesting.

I love this place and I will come back again on my next trip to Phuket. Until now, it is the best hotel in Thailand where we slept.
I loved every detail at the room, how clean it was, the lovely balcony, fast internet, and how friendly the staff was.
Additionally, they accepted to storage my big luggage at the check out day. I find it amazing from their side and I am grateful for the help the staff give us.
Definitely I highly recommend this hotel!
the malika was amazing we stayed in 5 hotels whilst in Thailand and this was by far the best, the manager and staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble, the cleaners were spotless, we are planning to go back to the malika next year, everything was perfect, thank you to all the staff at malika for our brilliant time, we will definitely be back
The staff was super friendly and helpful, one of the nicest people I've met in Thailand!
The room was spacious, just keep in mind facilities were a bit dated, but honestly it wasn't a problem for a couple of nights. The hotel is 10 mins away from the bus station and Old Town, so highly recommended value for money!
Was a very cheap place to have as a base to do the Phuket water park and Hanuman World zipwires.
Clean & safe.
Was chosen as part of a bigger trip and therefore wanted to keep the costs down and show our kids not just 5 star hotels!
Perfect base for travelling around and people wanting a cheaper place to stay.
The gym (club asia) was state of the art, the best I've tried in Thailand. The hotel itself 5 stars luxury, rooms 4 stars, just looking alittle dated, especially the bathrooms, but clean and had everything you need. Easy walk to Sunday night Market.
