Da (the host) was so kind to us at check in. The view of the mountains from our hut was so beautiful. We stayed here on a Tuesday and decided to drive into town to find some Khao Soi and it was bustling with people! There were stalls all along the street.

The pool view, the seating area by your own hut, and the overall energy of the Fern Resort was amazing. There’s a hiking trail that starts at the resort to beautiful waterfalls! They even provide water for the trek. We did it in 3 hours. It’s a tough hike, not for elderly or children. Food was also very good! We ate there most of the time! The prices for food and booze are also great. I loved being able to charge to the room and pay at checkout.

Very comfortable and well located. Simple but tasty breakfast, pleasant staff and a lovely setting over rice fields. Enjoyed the boardwalk around the bungalows and the many pleasant places to sit and relax. Close to a main road so very accessible but set back from it so very peaceful
