They have the most beautiful beach and an amazing eco concept. The restaurant had great seafood bbq. The staff was happy to help every step of the way from organizing transport to arranging ferrys and tours.
The bungalows have a great architecture and enough space. And even they had s.u.p and kayak for rent! Thank you for an amazing stay, I hope to return with more friends.

The resort is located at the quieter side of the island and about 35 minutes by bike from chaweng where the night life is located and even further from lamai. The cottages are separated from the beach by a main road but the resort has its own Cafe and a free guest use access area at the beach to sit under the shade. Unfortunately, the beach itself does not have a shaded area for those who want to stay away from the sun. Cost friendly option for anyone who does not mind the far location. The cottages are basic, comfortable and have aircon but do not have a suitable area to sit outside the cottage nor a sea view.

Bang Po Garden truly deserves every one of those 10 stars.
It's pretty much just as the photos here show: big detached rooms facing a lovely tropical fruit garden with an exceptionally welcoming, helpful and kind host (thank you Mr Kan!).
One thing we appreciated was how our room came with its own dedicated WiFi router. We stay in a lot of these detached cottage types of rooms in Thailand and some owners try to get by with one router for several rooms which does not always work. That is not the case here and it's this very attention to detail that to me represents top notch value.
We also loved the big front terrace with a table suitable for dining. The private kitchen is well equipped and Samui has some fantastic markets, so we got our own ingredients and made rice porridge with prawn as breakfast. I also appreciated having an in room desk so I could sit and check my emails inside as well.
The location worked out really well as a quiet central point between the busy and lower key sides of the islands. The beach is a 5 min walk as is a convenience store and one of Samui's better seafood restaurants, Bang Por (Takho) Seafood.

We spent our first week on Samui staying here, and it was a perfect start to our vacation:
• The location is beautiful—the sunsets are gorgeous, and the beach is enjoyable to walk on, but don’t expect to swim here since it is very shallow. The view from each villa is a treat and never gets old.
• A few restaurants around the hotel are reachable by foot and offer a wide range of lunch and dinner options.
• 7-Eleven is not close (unless you go by bike), but a few local shops are in the area.
• The staff is super nice and helps you with anything you might need. We had our villa changed as soon as we noticed the AC was acting up. They also delivered the bike we wanted in 15 minutes, and the renting process was super quick and easy.
• The breakfast offers both Thai and Western options. The food is fresh and nice, with enough options to pick from each day. The cafeteria is located right at the beach, so you eat with an awesome view too.
• The villa is not big but comfy and provides enough space for everything we needed. The facilities are nothing fancy but in good condition, and we were fully satisfied. Most of the time, we had no neighbors, so it was pretty private as well. We loved the overall vibe of the place.
• The small but private pool is a game changer for sure. We would wait out the max UV hours just chilling in it. There's also a hotel pool next to the cafeteria.
We absolutely loved the place and will definitely go back when we visit Samui again.

Our stay in The Mud was a wonderful experience.
Our stay in The Mud was a wonderful experience. The hotel and its architecture were fantastic, the staff is absolutely wonderful. Kik, Miou and Mike in the reception were mist helpful and we became good friends. The restaurant staff, house keeping and gardeners are also very friendly.
We enjoyed the rich breakfast and the evening meals with live music, very tasty meals in relaxing atmosphere and with super view.
We highly recommend a stay in this wonderful hotel. The distance to the next village is about 6 km. We rented a motor bike and this was the best decision ever!

The hotel was really nice - the whole area was just pleasant to be in as the hotel is surrounded by water everywhere.
As we had our honey moon the hotel staff made sure our room is close to the beach even though it was just a standard room.
In comparison with other hotels in that area, great value for money!
And the staff - soo kind, helpful and friendly!:)
Free yoga and water aerobics classes, canoeing and snorkeling so we really felt that the price we paid was more than worth the facilities and service we got.
The food in the restaurant was good but we also chose to go to the city nearby and eat at the local market Thai local specialties (very cheap btw).
The humble villa is nested in the west coast of Koh samui one of the most preserved one. The rooms are large lovely with everything you need to enjoy your stay (beach bag, towels etc) the sunset + beach view + private swing pool is the perfect combo! The breakfast is perfect just in front of the sea shore. The team is just perfect, helpful and friendly (as usual in Thaïlande) for the reception to the breakfast. A scooter rent is located 100m away from the hotel and it is helpful s you need a transport system as the area is quiet
Location is perfect - each morning you can go directly to the beach without actually leaving the territory of the hotel.
Staff are the best people, always help with any problem. For me they brought gas balloon to cook my breakfast every morning! They did it specially for me, which was just wonderful! We got a chat in WhatsApp so they were in contact all the time!
Rooms are very clean and cozy, all electrical equipment are in place and work properly.
This was my favorite hotel through my whole 4 weeks of travel. The villas are simple but very comfortable, and the private pool is just lovely. You’re right on the ocean and facing sunset for 10/10 views. Breakfast was also delicious, out overlooking the ocean (vegan friendly!)
It’s also so nice to be away from the crowds and chaos of the other beaches. It’s very quiet and relaxing.
If we come back we will 100% stay here again.
The person who helped us at the checking was super nice and accommodating. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. Each room has a small kitchen outside the bedroom (super handy for anyone that like cooking or having breakfast at the hotel). The closest beach is about 10 min away (walking). Lots of small shops and restaurants around. We would stay here again for sure.

The facilities and hotel are great. The owners went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. I got sick during my stay and the hotel owner went to the pharmacy for me. We also could not get a taxi to the pier so they dropped us at the pier and refused to let us pay. Great hotel with even better owners. Definitely stay here when visiting Samui.
the staff and bar staff were amazing. The Mud had the most amazing sunsets, staff were so efficient that we couldn't fault this place. This place is up with the top hotels we have ever stayed in. You could walk in the sea to Beryls cafe, which served up amazingly strong cocktails. We hired a scooter and this was the best way to visit places.
Traditional Thai and absolutely beautiful. The surroundings are gloriously idyllic.
The tress and wildlife make you feel completely immersed in nature. And the best of all of the 3km stretch of stunning beach to walk and swim… A few seconds walk away from any bungalow. I despise hotels. This is true Thai living 🇹🇭♥️🙏 ka
Amazing luxury apartment with little pool in room! Spectacular views over sea. Beach where the lovely gentlemen Frogi take you down safely was very chilled and beautiful coconutpalmtree beach.
Staff did everything for you to enjoy your stay. Would recommend for a views and luxury what Koh Samui has to offer.
Very clean, great location with a amazing beach only 25 meters from facility, everyday cleaning service, nonstop in disposal free water, coffee and anything you need for breakfast. Anything I needed was not a problem. In this price in Koh Samui great choice.
the property was perfectly located, quiet beach that felt private, helpful and kind owner/staff. Also perfectly clean and spacious and confortable. Best hotel stay in Thailand
also very helpful to rent us some bikes. There is also a kayak to use on the beach
Grounds were very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a good size. Full length mirror. Rent scooter from reception. Two pools very good size. Beach beautiful. Best hotel for sunsets!
