-rooms were in the basement, one room didn't have a window
No view of garden. Just windows opposite of another block. Gym opens late after 9.00am
The staff were absolutely wonderful. The breakfast selection was hearty and kept us going for most of the day. The services of the concierge Ms. Billur was outstanding. We were there for our 40th wedding anniversary and were pleasantly surprised by the management with their wishes along with a bottle of wine, a cake and a bowl of fresh fruit delivered to our room. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Location was excellent and the room was good. Loved the bathroom and internet was fast.
No bar or cafe in this side of the hotel.
Friendly multilingual staff, very good location & clean. The lady " Billur Perlinel " was helpful so were the others.Booked room w/garden &pool view but got underground room 1st night. Complained & moved to upper floor with free upgrade to bigger room.
I asked booking.com in advance for a smoking room but no reply. Htl turned out to be all non smoking. Laundry bill super expensive 100Euros for 12 pcs.Princess island tour booked from htl at 65Euros very bad outcome ( bad food, arrogant horse drivers,u do not get your money" worth).
The Beds....there were two single beds instead of a double bed that was requested!!
My reservation in this hotel was king suit but once arrived to hotel the front desk told me that it's not ready for accommodation due to some technical problem and they gave me a standard room with refund of 20%. I understand that this problem was beyond their control however, I accept the situation and I appreciate Mr. Baris, the front office manager for his efforts to make my stay comfortable. Also my regards to Mr. Evren, sales specialist. The location was perfect and very close to Bazar and Ayasophia. I have very good experiance with hotels spa and Hammam.
The way to the hotel is unknown to so many Taxi drivers and they just drop me at Ayasophia or Sultan Ahmet square by 300 meters from hotel.
we were a group of 7 people and two rooms were oka a single room was very expensive but okay , then other double room was okay but not for a five star hotel, the other two rooms were not superior were standar, small , one room had only a small window , the other room was dark, small, the mirrow was not okay, , the friends were ver unsatified and unhappy and the paid a superior room and got a bad standard romm, at the beginning they told the managment that they want to have another room, the changed four times( first room dirty, second room the air was with smoke filled, third room, small and a small window on the roof and the firth room was also small and the mirrow was not okay, fall alwas out, the managment was not able to upgrade them in a better room.We all did not know at the beginning that we got standard rooms instead of superior rooms.
Really really posh looking hotel, big enough swimming pool and proximity of all the main sights as well as tram stop. The welcome drink was lovely! Istambul Anatolia Caffe and Restaurant is just up the road on left, away from busy street and food it superb! as well as the service, really nice people, unlike some other places down the street (that are best avoided!)
The room was spotless, but it was a bit messy on corridors with sheets, bags of stuff, cups, plates (from cleaning/preparing the rooms) thats usually ok, but those were there whole day long... Its a pity as otherwise it as superb place. The swimming pool itself was clean but tiles around could be better maintained as well as the loungers that use to be white, but were really dirty, and you didnt feel like laying down on them... Wifi did not work at the swimming pool unfortunately.
Location close to saint sophia and sultannahmet mosque. Beautiful hotel.
Beautiful hotel and great location to restaurants, Sofia Hagia and Blue Mosques and many other historical sights. I will definitely return there.
Workings site outside which was noisy during the day but lucky I was out most of the time.
Excellent location, comfortable, aesthetically pleasant, helpful staff.
No room service or bar after 11 (not even a snack), which is not compatible with a 5 star hotel), very weak and disorganised breakfast. Not very efficient room cleaning: had an empty bottle in a frappe since the first night that never left the room, despite my daily request to remove it...
very nice location especially very near sultan ahmet (old city) of Istanbul
Location. Pool. Facilities. All excellent
The location is hard reach for taxi drivers.
Breakfast and all day buffet
Shortage of coffee in room and expensive laundry and did not like airconditioning arrangement
location & gym view from little room window of agia sophia
-personel rude and unhelpful -room was supposed to be 30sqm and was paris size i.e. 12-15sqm -pretenciousness of a hip busy hotel who doesn't need your business -pillows horribly high and hard impossible to sleep -fire sprinkler still had heat lock/ cap on!
Very good location free wifi, excellent beds and clean ideal position for those interested in staying in the old city area of Sultanahmet. It is also near the tram station.in case of rain they offer free umbrellas. Also free tea coffee between 17-18 and free food (meze) between 13-14..
The place is perfectly located within walking distance of the major sights. It is very well-appointed. The breakfast and lunch buffets included with the room are generous.
The concierge services are slipshod. 1. We asked the hotel to have a taxi to meet us at the airport upon arrival. Someone was there at the exit with our name on a card, but the driver wasn't. After an hour's wait (not what one wants after a transatlantic flight), we gave up and took a cab by ourselves. 2. We asked the staff for information about an outside laundry and a good general bookstore. They did not know of any. 3. Finding immense lines at some of the sites, we asked the staff whether one of the guided tours that they offer to book for their guests would enable us to skip the queues. The hotel staff member who handles the booking assured us that it would, but in the event (and after we had paid the quite substantial fee) we waited in line for over an hour like anyone else.
the staff were very helpful
Our guest relations rep was excellent with her recommendations of things to do, as well, provided excellent advice on what she felt was of value to us. Also excellent breakfast buffet.
The bed pillow was too high and firm for my personal needs.
The Hotel is very well appointed with courteous helpful staff from management down. Excellent facilities and our bed was super comfortable. Secluded Swimming pool and sunbathing area. Also very close (70 metres) from the Sultanahmet tram station and an excellent range of Restaurants bars and shopping. Blue Mosque 100 metres. Highly recommended Was the best hotel we stayed in during our month in Turkey.
The tiles beside the pool are very slippery when wet.
We had a suite with 2 room s but only one restroom with no privacy door . No closet. Interior was very tight no room to move around , no place to sit .
Spa is beautiful. Nice place and quite to relax after sauna or massage.
Room is small. Carpet on the hallway is dirty. Plates and glassess after room service are laying infront of our neighbors room. Swimming pool is small for the guest quantity of the hotel. Breakfast is crowded....
