staff was very friendly and very close to lackland..
first room the tv did not work but asked for new room and there was no problem.had seen the same comment from a guest prior on reviews so we checked upon arrival and sure enough tv did not work.
Rooms were not very clean and in poor condition. TV did not work in one room. Ran out of hot water in the morning after two minutes. When I talked to manager in the morning he told me I was lying about lack of hot water. Checked out early that dsy.
Absolutely the worst motel I have EVER stayed in..!! Roof has severe leaks.. Had to ask for Towels upon arrival ..Rooms were untidy..Bathroom was atrocious!! Broken tiles.. cracked sink.. rusty coffee pot In MAJOR NEED OF MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS..Updating the rooms would be a good place to start...I reserved a room at what online is called the Stay express inn... when we arrived the place is called the Carefree inn..Pictures online in no way resemble what I was staying at...Just want everyone to beware and Steer clear of this So called Motel They Should be ashamed to take peoples money to Stay in this Dump!!!!!!
Nothing! Place was filthy! Who wants to sleep with roaches??
Roaches crawling on you while sleeping. Shower not working. Only thing clean was towels. Everything else was filthy. I am waiting to see if I am charged a cancellation fee for their filth. If I am, I will be making an official complaint to the Department of Health, Better business Bureau, and to the Hotel Licensing Agency.
WIFI was poor,
Close to air force base
Lighting in room, cleaning lady rude,
My room was in a perfect
The staff at the desk very friendly
That one house keeper lady that kept letting her self in our room before we could even get to the door
The proximity to Valley Hi Gate
The night desk girl being more than a little rude and hanging up on me when I called to advise that my arrival had been delayed
Close proximity to Lackland Air Force Base; convenient location to stores and places to eat.
Not enough towels on a daily basis we had to ask for more towels.
Right next to the base entrance. Cost was great. Water from shower and sink was hot and great water pressure from the shower. Room heater worker well.
Bathroom was not very clean, several hairs on floor upon arrival. Many towels had permanent stains on them. Paper thin walls, can hear what is going on in all surrounding rooms and outside like they are right there in the room with you. Carpet in room was stained. When the wind blew the front door would shake.
We got a refund after checking out 5 days early. Within walking distance to Lackland AFB.
This place was a dive. The room smelled like mold/mildew. Several of the light bulbs were burned out and several of the electrical receptacles in the room did not work. The receptacles that did work were so old, nothing would stay plugged in! The bed was harder than a bed of stone and the shower curtain was covered with mildew. The door opened directly onto a parking lot, which in itself was not bad, but the door did not fit the frame and there was a large gap at the bottom. The furniture was old, dirty, and very uncomfortable. The staff were not extremely concerned about guests and would not even provide a lid for an ice bucket or a new ice bucket with a lid. No prices posted on vending machines and when asked the cost, staff stated, "I don't know, I don't drink it" (it was water for crying out loud!) After an altercation in the parking lot at 2:30 in the morning directly outside of our door, we checked out. Would not recommend this place for human or animal... although the hoards of feral cats around the place seemed content.
Beds location and above all price.
We liked the fact it was a low priced, safe facility, close to Lackland AFB. Also enjoyed the morning breakfast served, the hot tub and swimming pool.
There was nothing. We enjoyed the whole experience.
Proximity to Air Force base and good parking.
Room had a slight odor and bathroom floor seemed a little dirty.
The beds were so soft and comfortable. I wanted to take it home if I could.
Very close to the AFB.
You can hear everything in your room. The room was very dirty and outdated.
Rooms are clean, refrigerator, microwave. Small comforts make a big difference.
Parking next to the office to cramp up. there is plenty of empty space just infront of the parking lot.
the room very clean hot tub frount cleark janet
The room was cool and clean.
We were given a room that was already occupied. The second night we didnt have any towels. Had to call down for them. Our key wouldn't work had to get more issued to us...and the neighbors were loud in the middle of the night.
We paid $47 plus tax online so I certainly did not expect the Ritz Carlton. The room was clean and the staff was exceptionally friendly. The amenities were basic but for the money I have nothing at all to complain about.
the lady from the front desk was rude..and there was a lot of noise during the night from the room upstairs and we couldn't sleep through the night
I was there for BMT graduation so it was nice that it was so close to the base.
The rooms were dirty and smelled funny. The coffee pot was filthy and full of mold, I had to take it downstairs and ask for a new one. One day the maid only made one bed in my room. The maid never bright fresh towels or wash clothes the entire five days I was there. I had to go downstairsyltiple times and ask for a clean towel for my room. No shuttle offered from the airport so my can ride was 50 bucks. I was traveling alone with my ten year old and it was a horribly dissapointing stay. Even the breakfast was bad, soft half rotten bananas and stale cereal. I will not be recommending them to my friends traveling for future graduations.
Close enough to walk to the Air Force base but that was it.
Over priced for the condition of the room. Just plain dirty.
room was full of fleas and ticks that kept me awake. Television went in and out. Poor wi fi.
