availability of parking
Bar opened tiill 2am with live band extreme noise level. traveling with 82 year old staff unwilling to help. staff very poor service in all areas. restaurant also closed on a Sat night
Big shower/tub. Beds comfortable
One small elevator. Old stained carpets
Much better inside than it showed in photos. Room was very large and clean. Staffs were also kind.
Free parking was too competitive after 9 o'clock. Scent in the main floor was too strong.
No continental breakfast.
The business center was nice and the room was enormous. The staff were the highlight of my stay. They were very friendly and helpful. The location was safe (I walked to my destination with ease and no concerns).
There was a Marshall walking towards the club (the hotel has a club in it). So that was a little strange. It felt like a hotel in the hood but the area wasn't hood though. The area was descent but there wasn't anything in walking distance. The room had a foul odor and it was out dated. If you are staying for longer than one night you might want to stay somewhere else. If you want luxury then stay somewhere else for sure.
Nice quiet area. Some revelers were noisy in the lobby and hall, but friendly. Once I closed my door, I couldn't hear them. Despite being warned about area, I felt quite secure walking around during the day. I took a cab at night--NOT expensive, and cabbies were friendly. I was able to walk to Green Line (15 min) and McCormick Place (15 min). It was good to stretch my legs, but getting a cab when I needed one was a cinch. Many cabs passing through. I really liked the room. One king size bed, cable tv, a sitting area, spacious closet, fridge', iron and board, and a desk with comfortable chair. Nice light from the window made it even better. It was clean and comfortable. A good value for the money.
Overall this was a good place to stay. Location was easy access to lots of areas, restaurants were close, and the rooms were fine. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean.
Parking was a pain- there were always people taking two spaces and cars from people not staying at the hotel. The WiFi was slow...
It was convenient to the bus line and train. Free parking and free WiFi.
Didn't allow early check in and only one microwave in whole building on first floor.
Super nice and helpful staff. Patient and bright.
It was all good.
clean and comfortable room, polite staff, near to two different metro line.
Very nice, affordable hotel with a stop for a bus that will take you straight downtown right across the street.
Not a very nice neighborhood, far enough from major sights to make it difficult to walk to them.
I was so happy I ditched my hotel reservation in Magnificacent mile. Keep your $40/night for parking and come here! The facility is just as nice!
My favorite things about the hotel were the huge shower/bath tubs, the free parking, and the free wifi. I liked everything about the hotel. It was very clean and comfortable and it was affordable.
The only thing I could think that would make this hotel better would be a hot tub.
It was clean and staff was friendly
The room was very spacious and comfortable. The pillow top mattresses were wonderful!!!
Very spacious room.
we spent 3 nights, but from the second night they started not putting the correct numbers of towels! The first time i called the reception and tver said they would send someone with the towels. We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes and no one ever arrived, even though we called several times. The next day the same thing happened, but this time we Went down to the reception, and thhey only said that "these things happen"!
Free wifi and free parking
I booked a king bed room, but the staff gave me a 2 queen bedroom.
Free onsite parking is real bonus and the availability of a computer work station and Wi-Fi was nice.
The desk clerk was very snooty when we arrived. We were 45 minutes early but the room was ready soon but her aloofness didn't change. The Hotel is VERY close to the"L" train and the hotel was extremely noisy until around 2am. A quiet room was an option when I made advance reservations online, which I did request, but apparently was not really an option.
Good size room and comfortable bed
Food availability in the winter month. Restaurant closed and bar food greasy
Needs more parking space
Very near to the Exhibition Center
Breakfast is not included
Secure parking Secure hotel Very nice & accommodating staff Open lobby Easy access to McCormick Place & Cabs readily available
Location and the bar on the first floor.
VERY NOISY. Hotel did not remove obnoxious guests disturbing the peace.
Spaciousness of the room with a separate sitting area. The free parking is a very big plus. The office center is very well equiped and the free coffee machine is a very nice plus.
The fitness room is equipped with older equipment and no elliptical machines.
Staff had a bad attitude
