Too costly and wifi is too slow. High speed wifi [preferable FOC] is a must for business traveler.
location and staff amazing
*expensive for a night *not much facility *dark from the inside *elevators slow *pictures on booking.com different with what u c
We have stayed at the Roosevelt Hotel several times now and have always found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is situated right in the heart of Hollywood- you simply walk out of your hotel and have Hollywood at your doorstep. The facilities on offer are of high standard and the rooms are stylish and very comfortable. We always love staying here and will continue to return in years to come.
Location, pool, the guests, staff were super friendly, great cocktails,
Rooms were abit pricey
noise and bad room
My wife and I have stayed in very many hotels all over the world but we both agreed that ALL of the staff in the Hollywood Roosevelt ( especially those on reception) were superb and could not have been more helpful.
Great location. Great bars.
Rooms are old and outdated.
AC smelled like stale cigarettes. The decor/facilities haven't been updated since they opened. It's lost it's mojo and could seriously use a rebrand.
I like location
There is not free coffee and tea in the room as the other hotel live in!
Location, history, bars, lounge, pool
Cost of valet for hotel guest was too expensive. Bars didn't open till later in evening.
Rooms are tastefully updated. The food venues are nice. The mid -century ambiance and architecture allow one to "come in out of the Hollywood Blvd rat race" and step back to a more gentle and easy paced era. Valet parking is very convenient. Pool and gym are easily accessed. The location is within walking distance to all the notable sights - Dolby Theater/Wax Museum/Hollywood Bowl
The location of the hotel is excellent right on the hollywood blvd
On arrival the hotel was ok very dark! We then checked in and asked about wifi in which we were told there would b a charge of $15 per 24 hours! This is on top of our this is on top of our other fees we paid to stay here! We got the wifi but it didn't work so we had our charges waved after complaining We got to the room which was tiny there was 3 of us and no room to move! The air conditioning sounded like there was a moterbike in the bedroom but had no choice but to keep it on as it was 36• we were awoken the next morning buy extremely loud building works! We went to the pool which again was unwelcoming if u don't "look hollywood" U don't fit in and are not welcomed! We checked out and upon waiting for our transfer to the airport we had our cases outside waiting and was spoken to very rude and sarcastic by a member of staff!! And this seemed to be the theme throughout out stay! Again if you didn't "look hollywood" U were treated very different. I wouldn't revommend this hotel and I personally would never stay here again! It's not worth the money!!
great location to get around la on the hop on hop off bus
Our Jr. suite was perfect, food and atmosphere at Public was amazing, drinks at the Library bar were incredible
Close to Walk of Fame, and attractions on Hollywood Blvd, and train to Universal Studios. Rooms are comfortable and Cabana rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were polite and very helpful.
I liked that you had an availability on shirt notice
The service was non existent in the bar. Two drinks cost 32$. The beds were on the floor and the patio did not have a chair. I was in Los Angeles for medical care from an accident and I'm pain. The room was small so where I was unable to get my business done that I needed to do in my room. Breakfast was extremely over priced for two eggs, bacon, toast and coffee. $42? That's just a little but much. Parking was $32. I was disappointed when I saw the charges that honestly were unreasonable even for your four star downtown location. Next time I will stay where I am valued as a guest and not my money to sleep on the floor.
The hotel is a great historical building. The location is great on Hollywood Boulevard.
The rooms were rather small and the corridors rather dark.
Amazing pool, Checkin staff was great! The front restaurant, 25degrees is pretty good too.
Pool staff is pretty lazy. They could be making much more $ if they were on it.
Great location if you want yo do Hollywood Boulevard for a couple of days.
Expensive for what it is. $15 a day for internet and a $30 a day 'occupancy tax' on top of what you are paying for the room.
Great location, comfortable room.
At the check in I was told I got a complimentary upgrade to poolside room. I was happy until around 10pm when I tried to go to bed. I found out 'upgrade' meant 'you'll sleep on a dance floor'. At 2am my bed was still literally shaking of bass. I had to pack up and go to reception. To be fair, they gave me a replacement room (looks like they are used to it). But they really should warn people before "upgrading".
It was clean and the staff were nice
Rooms are dated and considering we booked and paid in full, more than 10 mths in advance. We ended up with our two rooms on different levels and overlooking the air con units. Fridge in one of the rooms did not work and was not replaced as promised
Small rooms, no storage, out of date, had to pay for coffee and wi-fi in room
The bedroom was very small and dingy lighting
Location for sightseeing in Hollywood Lobby bar area, decor Quiet rooms Pool Nice gym
Charge for in room coffee Charge for wifi High prices for bar drinks Dark hallways Tiny rooms (queen, lower flrs) No counter space in bathroom
