Good option for Cincinnati. Quick trip via freeway.
Cincinnati is a mixed bag. Great sports town with good resturaunts and amazing parks! But it is very trashed and the roads/traffic patterns are like trying to navigate 1920's New York with 2024 Vehicles. Just awful... Uber to everything!

My husband and I loved walking around taking in all the wonderful architecture that downtown Cincinnati has to offer. We also enjoyed the variety of eating options the area had to offer! Our favorite restaurants were Nickleson’s and the Metropole.

I was only there for part of the day and I explored the Taft Museum/National Park. It was very interesting and there is a lot of information on President Taft. The house is in great shape but does have a lot of steps, however there is also a hidden elevator. Just tell your guide about your mobility issues. I had plans to see the zoo but it was 35 degrees with snow flurries the next day. So I opted for the Creation Museum; it has really grown since my last visit! It is awesome.

Like many cities Cincinnati is beautiful in parts.
Like many cities Cincinnati is beautiful in parts. There is a great art and food scene, and plenty to do and enjoy. Transit is not particularly difficult and parking is difficult but available, and pricy.
The problem with Cincinnati is the level of crime and drug use throughout the city. One can't walk 100 yards without smelling marijuana and the promlems of poverty and homelessness are continuously evident. The good and bad parts are common to most cities. Oddly right across the river in Newport Kentucky the crime, drugs, etc. Seem basically non-existent. The Newport Aquarium and Hoffbrau Haus were great.

We came away with a much greater appreciation for the city of Cincinnati and Ohio in general. We appreciated amazing food, art deco architecture, art, and science in the city. The zoo is so much more than just Fiona. The animal enclosures are well-designed to provide a reasonable experience for the animals and great viewing for guests. The Cincinnati Museum Center and American Sign Museum were fun too.
Wow! The breakfast was SO good. The staff at Poindexter Coffee are so sweet and quick with service. I was hooked on the vegetarian breakfast burrito — SO good! My daughter and I loved the ease of being able to grab a quick breakfast onsite. We were so happy that beyond the convenience, the food and coffee were great! We also took advantage of the free bikes. We borrowed two bikes and took a spin through the University of Cincinnati campus. It was free, spontaneous and one of our favorite things we did while we were there!
Took a trip to downtown Cinci for my boyfriends 21st birthday and wanted something right there so we could walk, definitely the best hotel I’ve ever been at!! Valet parking was super nice, location is amazing especially if you’re looking for a busy area, staff was very hospitable, very clean and modern, rooftop was beautiful. Will definitely be going back, even met the new bengals draft picks!!
I loved the cleanliness of the room. The friendliness of everyone I staff I met, especially the dear lady running the welcome desk when I arrived.
The shower was fantastic. I wish I had that shower setup at my house, with the sealing glass enclosure and the wonderful sprayer setup. The best I've had in many years of hoteling.
We loved that the hotel was so close to so many different places to eat and a mall. The breakfast was great and had so many choices. We loved how quiet the hotel was. The pool was the best part for the kids!
The FBI field office was located behind the hotel. We were 15 minutes from the amazing Cincinnati Zoo and Jungle Jim’s!
The room was clean with no “hotel smell”. The room was a little small but that’s expected for an older downtown hotel. It appeared to be nicely and somewhat recently remodeled and that was nice. It was close to just about anything you’d want to do downtown.
I loved the decor and all the details specific to the the city of Cincinnati. The room keys are very clever, I loved our Charley Harper student ID! The hotel lobby is magnificent, so fun and inviting. The table of beautiful art books was an added delight.
A beautiful hotel with a fenced in back patio and fire pit. A great indoor pool, and FREE laundry services!
Our room (306) had a full size fridge, dishwasher, and stove. Plus the beds were so comfortable I slept the best I had since leaving home.
The hotel was ok I would give it a 3 star rating because I thought it was located in the heart of the downtown area of Cincinnati, the surrounding was fill with liter and to many homeless but, the hotel itself was just ok, nothing to brag about
The hotel was very clean and I really appreciated the aesthetic of the interior design. The staff was really friendly and helpful as well. It felt fun and fresh and new and I would definitely stay there again whenever I'm going to Cincinnati.
Very comfortable hotel in the heart of Cincinnati. The staff were fantastic and helpful, especially with recommendations. We eat in the hotel restaurant one night and it was a great choice with the menu offering a good range of food.
The staff is very nice and friendly. The bed was comfortable. The location is good; the hotel is close to both the CVG airport and downtown Cincinnati. Overall, I believe this hotel is suitable for quick weekend trips to Cincinnati.
Right in the heart of Cincinnati across from Fountain Square, a modern-iconic hotel in the city. Great service, large room with windows into the square.
