Excellent location with many nearby attractions.
Non-HD tv. I feel WiFi should be included at a hotel in this price range. Staff were not very pleasant to my wife and I (likely because we are a younger couple). Would not stay here again.
The concierge = disaster!
I liked the location near the river and lake shore. It was a great spot to go running along the water.
I didn't like that the rooms had no comfort amenities like q-tips, bath robes and slippers. I also didn't care for the fact that I was put on the worst side of the hotel with no view but asked if I wanted an upgrade for another $20 a night. I also had to pay $40 a night for wifi. For over $250 a night, you would think that the above items would come with that. Instead I ended up paying over $300 for basic comforts. I don't think I'll recommend our company to stay here next time.
Location was quite good and staff was friendly.
No towel racks! Towels don't dry on those little pegs. This is a no-brainer. Bathrooms are a mess now because there is nowhere to hang towels and washrags in hotel rooms. Yuck! Can't see clothes because no closet light and entry way light is too dim. Check in person who recommended the Emerald Loop restaurant as a good place to eat was wrong. How about some cream for the room coffee? Found 3 bell hops but where was the concierge?
Location is great
at 5am started some repair work; carpet in room was dirty
I liked tthe atmosphere of the hotel
the room disappointed me
The location for the marathon was ideal. The hotel is beautiful.
What I didn't like is that all night from our room you could hear the elevator. This is terrible because you couldn't get a good night sleep. It is an expensive hotel for this to happen.
Hotel.location .staff helpful.good rooms .good view of river from room.walking distance everything is available supermarkets .crab shaws restaurant.macy's store many restaurants etc.
Everything was excellent i liked everything
Room had a lot of banged up furniture in it
Hyatt hotels always have the most comfortable beds... Great location with nice view..
It's unbelievable that I grabbed a can of nut and placed it back after few seconds, and the charge actually appeared on my bill.. Few bucks but it's too stingy!!
Extremely close to everything downtown and very clean. Would highly recommend
The location. The friendliness of staff. The vibe buzz of the place was fantastic. Free Wifi
The service in the restaurant and bar was terrible. I was there for a rugby weekend and the staff just simply couldn't keep up and sadly this aspect was either not recognised by management or if so, not addressed. The staff themselves were friendly and did well under the circumstances. Elevator service was very slow and the rooms needed some TLC. Ripped shower curtain and stained carpet is not acceptable for a hotel of this quality
Beds very comfortable, slept well!
Location was excellent Bed was comfortable Food was good
Pillows too soft Bathroom in room is a disaster - far too small Towels look to be about 5 years old
Location was excellent. Clean and comfortable
Staff was rude, non professional and non welcoming, they ignore guests
Good all round hotel with great lobby area and popular, spacious bar.
The bed faced the wrong way!
Never get a room next to the elevator. 24/7 noise. Hard to rest, and the hotel can not do anything to minimize it during you stay ( unless you change rooms).
The room was clean. The coffee maker didn't work.
Having to pay such a high parking rate. Hotels should include parking when charging such high rates.
the view of the city
the valet office staff rude, too complicated to get to the room, loop hole after loop hole to get anywhere, over priced for food and beverages dbl charged our credit cards
Good location and nice rooms. Nice valets
At check in asking to bump up in price of room. Hallways not as nice as rest of hotel.
view and location
they don't clean daily well enough the beds are tilted slightly from over use but is comfortable still
If money and common modern conveniences aren't important to you, then the location makes this hotel worth it. After all, it is on Michigan and Whacker, with a great view of the Chicago river.
Nice place in an excellent location, but they lack attention to detail. TV reception was horrible, I could barely read some of the graphics. And few channels to choose from. The bathroom is set up to be pretty, not functional. There is a beautiful sink, with just a few inches of counter space. The toilet is so close to the wall that there is no room for the toilet paper holder. But they put it there anyway. The roll is squeezed in so tight that it is useless. The shower/tub drain is so bad the water was over my ankles in just a few minutes. Wi-Fi was $9.95 a day for their slowest option. Not bad, but who charges for that anymore? They charge outrageous prices for everything.
This is the excellent hotel with good location. Clean, good staff, modern view. Everythink was ok.
I feel safe and enjoy all facilities available in the hotel.
Wifi far too expensive
