Enjoy room & comfy bed
Guest service needs more work on friendlinesd
Really close to the convention centre. Loads of taxis and the number three bus goes from right outside into the city centre.
Pool was not great, small and not very warm.
good overall facilities, good quality of stay. when needed, the hotel tried its best to meet client desires.
the decent wifi connection needs to be paid extra 10.00 per day and it is a bit far from the main places on Michigan Ave.
Hotel restaurant was empty for obvious reason. Had a meal there. Food was not fresh and served cold.
The view. Close proximity to Metra and McCormack Place. The room was up-to-date and clean.
Very pricey, but you get what you pay for.
The southern view from the 32nd floor was very nice, bed was comfortable, location was ok although I would have liked more dining options within walking distance
Wi-Fi was inconsistent at best, didn't care for the bathroom layout (shower/toilet area was cramped), housekeeping woke us up one morning at 7:55AM (who cleans that early?)
I was in town to run the Chicago marathon. The staff was very helpfull with everything needed to make my stay a pleasure, I would stay at the Hyatt McCormick place again. Great job by everyone.
There's lots to love Pillows, the bed, the room The Bar and its staff WiFi included with my room Closeness to my conference When I asked not to be disturbed, they didn't
I wanted a place to have a cigarette quietly and they only offered me right outside the front door where children could see The shower had no pressure
Comfortable rooms, modern decor
When I booked through booking, the room was supposed to have free parking and wifi (that's how it was advertised). At checkin, that wasn't included. After discussion, the manager said she would grant free parking and wifi. But she never did. The next day I had to have the same argument with a new manager, who accused me of lying about my conversation with the first manager, and that he would "get back to me later." It seems they like to use the "later" technique to blow you off, hoping you'll forget.
Convenience of being at McCormick Place.
Cab lines. The staff does not manage cabs at all, only limousines. If you need a cab, get in line early because you are going to wait. And wait. And wait.
The staff at the Hyatt was outstanding. The hotel was very clean and the service was truly outstanding. I was there for a weekend visit to Notre Dame vs Stanford football game. I wish the had a double header. The place was that comfortable and a very relaxing atmosphere. I will stay here again if the need arise.
Modern spacious rooms. Affordable parking. Overall a nice hotel. The staff was both courteous and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.
The hotel's location is not the most convenient but it is close enough to the downtown area.
I paid $25.00 a night to park in the garage only to find out when I arrived back at the garage on the night of my first visit , there were no parking spaces available....there were several reserved parking spaces that was EMPTY and several Valet parking spaces coned off that was EMPTY... I was told by Security that I had to park across the street in a separate garage and walk back across to the hotel. I think if you would park the Valet cars across the street in the separate garage that would free up parking spaces for hotel guest to park in the hotel parking garage
top floor views
The price we got.
Not having free WiFi
We had a great evening out and it was wonderful to stay at the Hyatt for our 20th Anniversary.
Room next door was a little noisy...but not a big deal.
Upgraded us to 25th floor with wonderful view of the city!!!!!!!!
Proximity to the McCormick Place
There is no Indian or Asian Cousine Restaurant within the Hotel. So you need to go out for such Cuisines
Location, view from our room, staff, restaurants!
Perhaps a bit on the expensive side.
large room great service good location
no rain shower soft bed free wifi was slooow
When I ordered room service they were so nice and delivering the food they were so respectful and just made us feel comfortable
Lake View room was a side view of the lake barely see anything
Clean and quiet service is fantastic
Not much within walking distance to eat. Bar/lounge in lobby level was terrible - both in Food and drink quality
Convenient location, amenities present, free wi-fi
Premium price, above expected for amenities provided
Very convenient, located close to everything. Nice hotel. Staff was very professional, courteous and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and pillows were soft (:
I thought the rooms were excellent and comfortable. Very helpful and friendly staff. Restaurants were very nice.
Transport was very bad to get into the city centre trains are not frequent. However you could get a taxi which was cheap when a few are travelling
