Excellent customer service even during the holiday.
LOVE this place. Great staff overall, but Gabe and Rebecca at the Mix bar really stand out. I can go months between stays, but they remember both my drink preferences and my affinity for the incredible and unique pepperoni pizza (made with salami and sopresatta!). I always look forward to my next visit.
Rooms were a good size and the bed was amazing
The pool is small and closed at 10. Also there was no hot tub. Not very impressed
The hotel had so much to offer especially the gym facility. It was outstanding
Overbooked w young noisy athletes elevators had long waits. Pool area in disarray
Not only was there the Boat Show but also a Volleyball tournament and the hotel was full. The staff kept everything organized and comfortable. This location really knows how to handle a crowd.
Very roomy. Enjoyed the lounge chair. Excellent sleep.
Can hear people in the hall easily.
accommodating, friendly staff, clean facilities, convenient access right off 55
Ramp parking is never available because it is full all the time - even valet is overbooked
Stayed inside for visit to show.
Bathroom needs shelves/towel racks.
The close proximity to the convention center
For the money and parking costs, I was expecting a nicer room. The restaurants in the hotel are just basic and expensive. $18.00 for a burger! The room was dirty when I checked into it from previous guest and when I came back after I complained four hours later, it still had not been cleaned. Moved into a different room.
Great room. Nice view. Had a good time in the bar. Good Wait staff
The nighttime view The room The comfort of the bed The price I booked at and paid for early
The pool was small The prices on snacks at the lobby coffee shop was too expensive especially for the teenagers I have who eat all the time
the quick check in time.
the noise coming from rooms and door shaming by customers.
Everything from staff to cleanliness.
Went to Bears game-proximity to Soldier Field. Great rate- Stayed last year-back Again!!!!
It is so beautiful in the room great customer service
Not many restaurants within walking distance of hotel
Super clean rooms. Classy bathroom and showers. Brand new TV and furniture. Thick curtains for a dark room during sunlight. Extra towels and bed sheets and toiletries.
When you arrive self parking is 32 dollars per 12 hours, meaning 64 dollars per night. At check in, you have to pay a $100 dollar deposit fee for security purposes. I Did not like that due to the hotel reservations not saying anything about a deposit fee. Also I recieved a room on the 4th floor next to the parked cars. I was not happy at all and asked for a room changed on the highest floor. The window view was not what I expected due to the second building Infront of us. No microwave in our room. Not satisfied. Lastly, at check out, the older woman checking us out called my husband a smart ass because, he asked about the $100 dollar deposit being kept by the hotel due to pre changing you for parking . So the hotel keeps your "deposit fee" for parking but does not tell you they are pre charging you for the parking in the beginning. We parked on the street far, the first night. Then parked in parking garage the second night.. Still wanted all $100 dollars. Never again this hotel!!!!!
Free wifi was a plus. Decent place to sleep. Parking complimentary with our deal.
The L stop closest to us was under construction, so we had to make the .6 mile treck to and from the Chinatown stop in 8 degree weather. Bathroom was small. Bed was mediocrely comfortable. Would've liked an in-room or express check out option. The line to check out and leave was outrageously long. We just split without a receipt. Overall, my boyfriend and I had a great evening, but the hotel did nothing to enhance it. Just a place to sleep. Disclaimer: we didn't explore any of the amenities, so it could be fine for a longer stay. Just wasn't worth it for one night.
1)bed was terrible -head was 4-5 inches lower than foot of bed. 2)roomservice overpriced and limited 3)delivery service to room was forbidden destroying image of "delivery service" 4)Chicago's "in" with Amtrak, forcing overnite mandatory is discusting
The room was great, comfortable and the staff was awesome
We got no rest because it was New Years Eve and New Years Day both nights people were yelling and arguing in the hallways ,the music was extremely loud threw out the hallways,we called the front desk and complained several times but they came up ..love the hotel but will never go back
This was the cheapest room in the city on New Year's Eve and a very nice hotel! It was conveniently located 2mins from Tommy Guns Garage dinner theatre ad made for an easy travel night. I also liked they had security checking wristbands on the way back into the elevator area to make sure you belonged!
Valet Garage was full and front was a mess, it could have been handled much better. Too much technology in the room and hotel with no explanation. I'm 32 and couldn't figure out how to use the elevator, the digital phone, or get into the room!
large room, decorations were top notch and tasteful. view was great and the privacy provided was second to none
lack of tussue dispensers in rooms spaces other than bath room.when calling down for info never directly reached front desk and one one occasion was switched several times.had to have ket cards reprogrammed twice due to their failure on two occasions trying to leave garage.
The helpful staff after discovering my room wasn't cleaned (pre-occupied)
A 45 minute wait for a new room key at 2 am , then get into new room with no remote for the television. Another twenty minutes waiting.
The help we had from bell hops was phenomenal. We tipped our last guy $15 because he was just so nice. The beds were extra comfortable.
When I booked our room for my husband and I to celebrate 2 nights away on our anniversary, I didn't expect to be mislead through photos. We booked a city view king superior. Once we got into our room, our shower looked entirely different (curtain verses glass) than the shower I thought I was booking not only according to booking.com, but also to the hotel's website. I called the front desk. I received no apologies. Only arguments. "No, you're in the right room. You booked a city view. Our standard rooms are only the glass showers." "Well, you're photos on your website say otherwise. That's a little misleading." He didn't care, nor did he apologize. I think the Hyatt Regency needs to update their room photos to accurately reflect the rooms. They're not as nice as they put out.
