I liked that I asked for a room with a nice view. And that's what they gave me.Very good staff.
The shower didn't have much pressure. I think it's the type of shower heads they use. But it made do.The bar was nice but $$.
Service of all types - front desk, room service, dining rooms. Best hotel stay in a while, anywhere.
Weather. Too bad they failed at fixing that.
Good access to thee Hotel, clean and friendly, nice big rooms, comfortable, nice Bar and restaurant
expensive parking as everywhere in Chicago, not in walking distance to town centre
most of the staff in the restaurant were friendly. The room was cleaned well and quickly. Towels and amenities were up to the Hyatt standard.
But i question if the staff feel secure in their jobs - Our breakfast waitress could have done a great job in accounting. She seemed too businesslike to work as a server. Had breakfast 2x and dinner once. Dinner staff were exceptional and friendly. Food quality was mediocre. Breakfast food was not hot on the burners and the bread was dried on the edges, definitely not fresh.
Had reserved a king sized bed. Upon check in at 6:30 pm all king sized "sold out" even though I reserved
I liked the view from our room, the bed was very comfortable and clean and the location of the hotel is perfect if you don't want the hustle of being in the heart of downtown.
The room had a swirling wind sound coming from the overhead vent in the bathroom which was very annoying. We had to remember to close the door. The lighting was horrible for putting on makeup very dimly lit. Our parking key did not work the entire time, we had to keep contacting customer service. And lastly, we were out of our room for an entire day to come back and our room was not cleaned, had to wait an hour, they did give us a $40 credit to use at the bar
Booking website lied on me by saying " free parking". When i went there the reception told me that i had to pay $30 for the parking. If i had knowen that, i wouldn't have booked this hotel. I didnt blame the hotel i blame it on booking website.
I truly like how nice and cordial the staff was. Also the view from my room was gorgeous. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the room size and coziness of it. In all words, it was an excellent choice.
There's was absolutely nothing wrong or anything I didn't like.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The location of the hotel is not within walking distance from shops and restaurants, you have to take a bus or a taxi.
-the internet was extremely slow -there was trash left from, i guess, the previous guest's stay, outside the room which was not cleaned up inspite of repeated calls to the front desk -the shower curtain was torn and water leaked onto the floor when you showered -overall I was expecting a much better service for the price I paid -I can safely say I wont be staying in a Hyatt again
Best location if attending event at McCormick Place.
It was very convenient since i was on budiness trip and the conference is almost in same building
The location is 15 mint drive from Chicago down town
The conference center is amazing and most convenient.
Unstable wifi connection. Payed for hi speed but wasn't available when I needed it.
Location Location Location
Forget room service. 30 min can line (shoulda ubered)
Cleanliness, restaurants, cable and WiFi. Nice sized comfortable bed, valet service.
There was no microwave, not enough lighting in the bathroom, not enough face towels, expensive valet service.
The intensity of the water in the shower was terrible!
The view was what made the stay amazing
Booked through Booking.com. Should have known it was to good to be true. The extra cost for upgrade was a waste of money, the view of the parking lot was a wasted request also. The daily taxes and fees were not disclosed up front either. $400 weekend turned into $ 600
didn't stay so couldn't tell you
looked at booking a room, never actually booked it (to my recollection) and never got a confirmation but still got charged a no-show fee.
The hotel and facilities were great. I liked the secluded quiet room. The room was immaculate. Clean and comfortable.
just a little away from the city, next time I will stay at the other Hyatt near downtown. Otherwise, very good
Quiet location close to the conference centre. Porters were readily available to help.Getting a taxi is no problem. Staff helpful in checking-in online.
The closest to the convention center great Fitness centre
40 min walk from downtown
Close to convention/ conference center. Door men pleasant and helpful. Computer and printer for web check and boarding pass. Notary public on site.
No shower cap. No complementary water. Limited eating options. Expensive room service. Room not properly cleaned. Rude front desk attendant. Concierge not always available.
