Absolutely nothing. The staff was not accommodating at all. Kids running the halls all night and nothing done about it. Had two rooms for family to attend a wedding and the rooms were 400 a night. Unexceptionable!!

The Last Chance Gulch area is pretty with historic residences and old buildings and new pedestrian areas. Shellie's Country Cafe is charming. Glad to shop at Ross Dress For Less and TJ Maxx. The surrounding mountains are pretty. Google Maps gives bad directions sometimes when driving, and streets are confusing but also charming. Plenty of hotels/motels to choose from.

Nice hotel, clean, good staff, rooms are roomy and nice.
Nice hotel, clean, good staff, rooms are roomy and nice. Just Make Sure that your Room Heater isn't broken? We are an older couple and we couldn't get the DARN heater to turn down? After quite some time trying to Adjust the temperature we finally just figured out how to turn it off and tried to sleep on top of the bad covers with the Window open.(Thank God for that!) I didn't get much sleep but the wife was able to rest at least. Thank You

As the state capital Helena is obviously central in the development and history of Montana. The early wealth generated by vast mineral resources, lumber and cattle can be seen in the buildings and mansions from the 1880s in the center of town.
Downtown is now devoted to coffee shops, restaurants, gift shops and antique stores. The Cathedral, Capital building and Governors Mansion are worth seeing. Fort Harrison, the birthplace of the First Special Forces " Devils Brigade" is of special interest to military history buffs.

Surprisingly cool city with decent downtown area and many surrounding neighborhoods worth checking out for food, drinks, shopping. Great hiking in nearby parks. Would have spent an extra day there if I had the time.

If your an out of state tourist , you have the Capital building to see. Holter lake is not to far away and I hear that the "Gates of the Mountians" tour is very seanic and pretty. I suppose there is other things to do there also but I only come over to Helena once in a great while to visit Fort Harrison for medical appointments.
The hotel was perfect for our one night stop. The room was spacious with great toilet. We used the laundry room and gym, and both were great. Specially the gym: really well equiped and accessible.
Furthermore, the staff was always keen to help us and the breakfast was very good. It had a lot of options and even (for me very important) a non diary option milk for my coffe. Thanks for that!
The hotel room was sparkling clean, large, super comfortable. The young lady at the desk was incredibly nice, helpful and informative. There was convenient parking, and the hotel is a short drive from downtown Helena, which is a charming city full of interesting buildings and activities. Breakfast was very nice with a good variety of foods.
Bedroom was ok but one of the chairs looked dirty and needed to be cleaned or replaced. Some of the bed decor was a little worn but appeared to be clean. Overall bed was comfortable.
Wifi was good. All amenities worked.
Breakfast was ok. A little less selection than some of the other Wyndham hotels.
I have stayed at some hotels where the breakfast was a stale muffin and a drink of watered down juice. This breakfast was not like that, with scrambled eggs, sausages and muffins with gravy, along with numerous other breakfast options. My breakfast easily lasted me until well after lunch. Delicious!
The staff is very friendly. They are very prompt and seem like they genuinely care about you.
The breakfast is nice. I like how you can just select what you want from the refrigerator.
I like the look of the main entrance when you come into the hotel.
Honestly, nothing. There were little to no redeemable qualities about this place. We didn't have high expectations for a budget friendly hotel, but our room didn't even have a garbage can. The place doesn't even meet bare minimums.
Location was likely the best part of the hotel.
Bed was very comfortable, clean and nicely made upon check in.
Staff were helpful (provided restaurant options close by) and polite when we checked in.
- great location in downtown Helena
- lots of restaurants in walking distance nearby
- comfortable and very modern hotel rooms
- Breakfast (13$) with lots of fresh options and omelette station
The staff was very friendly especially Rob. I loved the lagoon very cool paintings on the walls. It was unlike any hotel I've stayed at before in an interesting really neat vibe kind of way.
Room was big and clean, breakfast was good and the area was clean and well maintained. The lady in charge was restocking very well. The hotel was nicely located and quiet. Bed was comfy.
