It was such an awesome experience, felt like we stepped back in time. I took my girlfriend there as a surprise because she loves to take pictures and loves history and it was her birthday weekend. Great experience, we wandered around and checked out all the unique rooms. The room that we stayed in was awesome it had a dining room, a sitting room and a fireplace with two wingback chairs. Such excellent craftsmanship went into building this place and we read all the history about it while sitting in the room, so it really felt like we were experiencing what it would have been like to live in luxury 100 years ago. From the tiled shower, to the dual sink bathroom, to even seeing outside the window of the bathroom in our room, two little baby birdie eggs, and then the bird finally showed up to sit on them. It was so cool! So many unique and interesting things to see with textures colors fabrics woods metals. Just amazing on the eyes to be immersed in such artistry and craftsmanship and history. Wonderful!
The staff were all friendly, the room was very clean the house was really fun to walk around. The grounds were peaceful. Excellent stay. We also went to the Temple Theater which is a few miles down the road and watches the symphony, in a beautifully restored theatre, which also was excellent and beautiful. Highly recommend!!

The Temple Theatre is a must, a great old venue with a lot of character. The Castle Museum/Historical Society of Saginaw County is another beautiful site to see with a lot of history. Tony's Italian Restaurant on Gratiot or State St have exceptional Italian food. Most of the streets are north/south or east/west oriented so not difficult to move about Saginaw. I wish more of the old downtown area was being brought back to life.

We stayed in Saginaw because all reasonably priced accommodations in nearby Frankenmuth were already booked. We were heading there for their Bavarian Fest. Saginaw was a drivable distance option, and we didn’t spend much time there. We did, however take in the Saginaw Castle, which is an historic post office converted into a beautifully executed local history museum. Quite impressive.

This place was a catfish hotel.
This place was a catfish hotel. When arriving I saw local vagrants all around. The neighborhood is sketchy, and the whole hotel was dirty. Room was filthy, bedding was scratchy and smelled horrible. If you like clean spaces, do not go here.

Overcharged me $50 right from the beginning and then staff argued with me saying they couldn’t do anything about it. Wanted to swim but pool was down. Thought they had a hot tub but they did not. Ice machines were also all broke

Hotel was not prepared to feed an influx of guests so on the morning of July 13, food was out at 7:30. We never got to talk to a manager and no compensation was offered. We had to go out and buy breakfast for my 92 yea old mother-in-law. On the 14th there was sufficient and good food for breakfast.
The location is great and plenty of good shopping and restaurants nearby.
VERY clean, especially at the price point, mini fridge and microwave in the room and reliable WiFi. Gentleman in the office was very nice, and quick to grab some extra towels for my partner and I. It’s off of the main roads so very quiet too.
It’s a small simple room, nice tiled shower, good desk with a comfortable office chair in the room, I wasn’t traveling for work this time but if I ever need to stay in the area for business I wouldn’t hesitate for it, I didn’t need to print so I can’t comment on that.
We stayed in a King room in Relax Inn for about 5 days. I felt at home and felt very welcomed by the staff. This place is pet friendly, very calm and quiet during all hours of the day, and the views from the sky are incredible during morning and dusk. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. We had our light fixture go out during a storm and the staff had it fixed for us by the afternoon. We did not leave our dogs in the room and we returned to clean made beds.
Receptionist was friendly and helpful. She made us feel welcomed and invited. She was very professional; answered all questions and provided just enough details. Love that the hotel had an indoor and outdoor pool. Really liked that hotel guests received 10% off at UNO restaurant. The Cobb Salad. cheese bread, cocktails and service at the UNO was also very good. We sat at the bar area, and the bartender, was on top of her game.
We stayed at this hotel when it first opened many years ago. We enjoyed our stay and when needing to travel to Midland (25 min away), this was our choice! The hotel was very clean and the beds comfortable (this is huge for me because I have a very bad back). We love this hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Keep up the good work!
The hotel was recently remodeled, very modern.Very comfortable, pleasant staff, good supply of breakfast items. The pool looked inviting, but I could not partake. The beds were very comfortable, the room and common areas were also very clean. Well taken care of hotel.
Location was convenient. There was some remodeling going on at the hotel, which limited parking a bit, but nothing that we couldn't deal with. Staff members were very friendly.
Clean room, spacious.Breakfast is not bad, fresh cooked toast cheese bread, just the dining area too small and too open right in front of reception area. Staff friendly
I’ve stayed there before on a bus shopping trip so it was familiar and I knew what we were getting. They told me the hotel is going to be renovated. Location is great
The staff was friendly, especially Cindy at the front desk! Everything was as it should be for a hotel stay. It was very quiet which made for a good night's sleep.
We got great help from Ty Robinson at the front desk, when something did not go right with our reservation via booking.com.
The room was nice and clean, good bed.
Location and staff were very helpful in accommodating. No issues with the room and the wife and i had a GREAT night.
I'll definitely would stay here again.
