I could hear a running toilet/AC/something with water all night long both nights of my stay...I called but no one fixed it. I had to use earplugs in order to sleep.
It's a Marriott so of course it's going to be nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the balcony overlooking the river. It was a beautiful view!
For the amount of money we paid, the room was no different than a Holiday Inn. Very small with a tiny bathroom. Like I said, the only thing this place has going for it is the balcony and view, which you pay extra for.
Loved the pool. The fact that it stays open a little later than other hotels was nice because we got in a little swim before turning in. The attendant was very accommodating and friendly.
Didn't have any complaints.
Location was right where I needed to be
Carpet in the room was dirty and worn, construction was going on and I would have been nice to know before booking as I would have gone across the street, beds were uncomfortable, room was smaller than represented through your website so I don't feel like I got good value for the cost, parking was difficult and expensive, the website said to make parking reservation and when I tried the hotel had no clue what I was talking about so you need update your website, I will not use you again.
Good fitness facility.
Rooms way outdated. Construction annoying.
Beds were very comfortable! Staff were very friendly and eager to please
The Beth towels were somewhat flimsy. Not what I expected at a Marriott. They should consider upgrading them
Starbucks in the lobby
Service in bar/restaurant
Hotel breakfast was a pricey for what you got—not talking portion-size. Tasty though.
Out dated you can tell the hotels age once you get to your room. Had to pay 27 dollars to park for one night. And had to pay to use wifi.
The room view
Loud noise from remodeling
All the staff was super nice and helpful. The location was superb--centralized and beautiful. I will most like stay there again.
I would prefer a tempur pedic foam style mattress
Location on the River Walk
My room was filthy. I would expect a lot more for a room that was $424 per night.
paid for breakfast, but so limited food selections.
The hotel was very nice, clean, and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very nice and helpful
Parking is horrible (not enough space), and they will nickel and dime you for everything. There is even tax on parking! Have to pay for wifi?! Seriously? A somewhat expensive hotel should have free wifi like lower priced properties.
Upon arrival, my card and the other people I was with who had reserved separate rooms cards each were charged multiple times for our night's stay. This led to one in our party being unable to use her card the rest of the trip, on top of over drafting fees and account issues for me as well. We spent at least 1-1.5 hours in the lobby trying to eradicate the situation with mgmt who seemed very confused and unable to help. Not how we planned our vacation.
The staff was excellent. We missed our wake up call and they kept calling to make sure everything was ok. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel rooms are a little outdated but are being renovated. Nithing really negative to say
Bar and balcony, room balcony, view.
Staff a bit confused on a couple of questions, parking not explained well, difficult time getting out of parking facility with card given.
The staff were so friendly and attentive. Ms. Mary Gonzalez made delicious omelets for us in the morning and Mr. Lewis took care of us during breakfast promptly and with a smile on his face. Thank you very much. The location is fantastic! and so convenient.
The pillows were kind of too soft for our liking.
Poor breakfast lounge. Paying much but the food was so limited
Location, bedding comfortable & staff very attentive.
Tipping is forced on guests. No frig., room needs a more modern appeal.
Perfect location, right on top of the river walk. Confortable hotel, good value for money spent.
Parking lot was full, had to pay for vallet parking. Hotel shows signs of age.
The size of the room. No amenities
