Score from 359 reviews Wonderful

Score from 477 reviews Very good
Hotel was very nice, check in and out was extremely simple. I checked out through the tv which was very convenient. The hotel is right on the riverwalk also, so it was very easy to walk down to it.
The hotel breakfast buffet is extremely overpriced for what you get. No way a breakfast should be 50 dollars with tip for 2 people. Also, the valet parking took like 20-30 minutes to get our car, but it was at check out time so it wasn't too bad.
The new renovated room!!
The king room looking over the top of a roof
The location, accessibility to places
Under construction, several things missing like soap, blanket
Room look like it was not ready to be rented, sorry but thats how I saw it
Proximity to everything
Location, room was recently renovated, very comfortable
A little pricey
Staff was helpful and accommodating . I'd stay here again
I love the location.
Excellent area. Easy riverwalk access, walking distance from downtown.
The rooms are not worth the price. Rooms are very small just like holiday inn. No free continental breakfast. They over charged us the parking so I had to call to get it reimbursed (be careful).
Very close to the river and the Alamo.
Another Marriott across the street which is more upscale. Parking garage is under hotel and not the one connect on the side. One way streets made it hard to navigate for the parking.
I could hear a running toilet/AC/something with water all night long both nights of my stay...I called but no one fixed it. I had to use earplugs in order to sleep.
It's a Marriott so of course it's going to be nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the balcony overlooking the river. It was a beautiful view!
For the amount of money we paid, the room was no different than a Holiday Inn. Very small with a tiny bathroom. Like I said, the only thing this place has going for it is the balcony and view, which you pay extra for.
Loved the pool. The fact that it stays open a little later than other hotels was nice because we got in a little swim before turning in. The attendant was very accommodating and friendly.
Didn't have any complaints.
Location was right where I needed to be
Carpet in the room was dirty and worn, construction was going on and I would have been nice to know before booking as I would have gone across the street, beds were uncomfortable, room was smaller than represented through your website so I don't feel like I got good value for the cost, parking was difficult and expensive, the website said to make parking reservation and when I tried the hotel had no clue what I was talking about so you need update your website, I will not use you again.
Good fitness facility.
Rooms way outdated. Construction annoying.
Beds were very comfortable! Staff were very friendly and eager to please
The Beth towels were somewhat flimsy. Not what I expected at a Marriott. They should consider upgrading them
Starbucks in the lobby
Service in bar/restaurant
Hotel breakfast was a pricey for what you got—not talking portion-size. Tasty though.
Out dated you can tell the hotels age once you get to your room. Had to pay 27 dollars to park for one night. And had to pay to use wifi.
The room view
Loud noise from remodeling
All the staff was super nice and helpful. The location was superb--centralized and beautiful. I will most like stay there again.
I would prefer a tempur pedic foam style mattress
Location on the River Walk
My room was filthy. I would expect a lot more for a room that was $424 per night.
