When we arrived and we went to check in at 10 pm our room had been canceled because it wasn't able to precharge our card when verifying our card details . The had no problem finding us a room and upgrading which made our stay even better giving us a two room suit . It was perfect for a family of 7 traveling .

Great place to visit.
Great place to visit. I came for Sonic Temple, and stayed a few days longer, to sightsee. Went to Hocking Hills, 60 miles south of Columbus. A very nice visit for some easy hikes. Extremely nice on a warmer day. Old Mans Cave loop hike from the visitors center is fantastic on a warm day. It is a mostly shaded hike with plenty of areas to stop and cool off in the shade, running water in the creek, Very pleasant.

We love Columbus.
We love Columbus. We have come multiple times and this recent trip was for just a night for a concert. It has one of the biggest Zoos we have ever been to, with a waterpark/theme park option as well. Tons of great restaurants, bars, and fun stuff to do.
Polaris is a great area to stay when visiting. Just 20 minutes north of downtown Columbus, a very nice and clean area with good food options, top golf, good hotel options, and even an IKEA

Traffic is very congested and highways are full of aggressive speeding drivers. The outerbelts are crazy. People have little respect for each other. Modern city with lots of new restaurants and bars. Easton has a lot to offer. Lots to see and do.

I attend the Columbus Ribs and Jazz fest (a 3 day event) when I can. On my first attendance my opinion of Columbus drivers was they are the rudest drivers in Ohio. I won't change that because to do so would be risk to my life. On this last trip I dated the opinion: Columbus drivers are the rudest drivers east of the Mississippi river in America. They have gotten much worse, more aggressive, less respective to speed limits, less respective to interstate right of way at speeds exceeding 70MPH, and the number of rude drivers has gone up by 2,000%. To drive on an interstate in Columbus is more risk than Boston, LA, or San Francisco. And, for no good reason! My next planned trip to Columbus is 'NEVER EVER' and for good reason.

The downtown area is clean and felt safe, which is rare for a major US City. The area we stayed had nearby restaurants and bars. The Convention Center and Nationwide Arena was within walking distance. We definitely plane on returning for a longer stay.
Big room with comfy beds. Good sized bathroom and shower. Efficient heater/a.c. Fridge and microwave. Nice desk and lounge area. There was a pool and 24hr gym and also free breakfast in the morning but as we were there for a music festival we didn’t get up early enough to try the breakfast. The free coffee in the foyer was appreciated though. The hotel is situated close to various shopping and dining outlets.
Almost everything! The bed was the most comfortable! And the pillows... Awesome! The Hyatt was clean, staff were extremely accommodating, they had my room ready at 11:15 am. This was phenomenal because we moved to the Hyatt after a very disappointing incident at the Hilton Gardens Inn / Polaris. If I'm ever back in Columbus, I will be staying at the Hyatt Regency Downtown.
I was pleasantly surprised by how nice, clean, and up to date it was, considering how much I paid for the room. The price was super affordable and low cost. Way cheaper than some of the surrounding hotels. I will definitely come back. Also, the staff was super friendly and helpful. I would recommend this amazing hotel to everyone.
Amenities were beyond what was ever offered at any other hotel we have stayed at. Opportunities to use record player or boom box in your room. Bicycles or even kayaking opportunities! The decor was beautiful and so comfortable. Rooftop bar had excellent downtown views. Customer service was excellent.
In town for a cheer competition. We booked at Residencd Inn Polaris and were extremely happy with the room and whole property. We ended up extending our stay and canceling a hotel in downtown Columbus by the convention center. The staff is amazing! The room was perfect. Breakfast fantastic.
Great value for money comparing to other hotels in Columbus Airport area and generally in Columbus. However, as I heard there are other not modernized old rooms, so be careful and mindful about that. New rooms are nice, spacious, clean and modern with big TV, comfortable bed and nice decor.
Overall, it was a great location and the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and nice and it’s always a plus to have a pet friendly hotel that’s decent looking because we travel with our pets a lot and usually it’s either slim Pickens, or the pet charges are outrageous.
I liked the room set up . The bed is hella comfortable.
I love the glass shower . Housekeeping was nice , only thing is they mainly all speak Spanish , good thing I knew how to speak Spanish . The breakfast by far was the best hotel breakfast I’ve had since Covid hit .
The location is very convenient, very close to The Ohio State University. There are good restaurants and supermarkets within a short driving distance. The hotel seems to have been recently renovated and looks new. Our room is clean and quiet.
Convenient hotel, near the airport and highway. Rooms were fairly nice and comfortable. Parking was ample on the facility, but not always near your room. Was quiet overnight, after it was a little loud in the parking lot until around 9pm.
The close proximity to the Columbus, OH airport (John Glenn International), the free and prompt shuttle service to/from the hotel to the airport; the polite Front Counter employee; the quietness of my room location.
The ladies from reception and the housekeeping staff were really nice. The room was big, the beds real comfy and it was nice and quiet In the room. The location of the hotel was great and the pool was nice and warm.
I staid just one night for a business trip. The room was very big, huge bath and shower. The building is an historical landmark and the furniture is adequate to it. I had breakfast at the hotel. I can recommend it.
The Staff was very nice, professional and helpful.
The location: the hotel is very close to the airport and the city shopping center.
The bed was comfortable, and the room in general was clean and well equipped.
The hotel is located downtown and very close to the tournament my son participated. Staff was extremely friendly. Rooms were comfortable. Restaurant downstairs had good food.
The room was very clean and the bed was fantastic. Best sleep we have had at a hotel ever. Breakfast was good and people we dealt with were very polite.
