Staff are extremely helpful. Nice to get a NY Times at my door. Coffee at breakfast was delicious, and the little dining room was a lovely place to eat.
The breakfast was OK but I was hoping for something a little better than what I'd get at a Hampton Inn. Coffee was very good though.
The staff was incredibly helpful, the hotel was near everything I wanted to see/do, the room was exceptional and the bed was luxuriant! And the breakfast was delicious. What a delightful place.
It was raining....
location, room size
Good location to be near us when visiting.
The staff was very accommodating...
Construction woke us up every day except Saturday and Sunday. For the inconvenience they gave us 3 nights free parking. . We had to pay 20.00 additional per night to park across the street in a very small parking lot and even though we had a small car it was hard getting in and out of the parking spaces. . The living room furniture was outdated..The kitchen stove was so old it had push buttons to turn it on.. Not happy with our stay at this hotel..
Bed very comfortable to
Could open windows Having a desk Friendly and courteous staff Evening wine tasting Cookies and coffee reception Downstairs publuc space
Bathrooms had no counter space. Needed refurbished. Breakfast variety and quality
breakfast evening wine tasting great location
ongoing building repairs in an adjacent room started very early in the morning!
Perfect location for downtown/Pearl District access, including Powell's Bookstore and many excellent dining choices. Newly refurbished room was quiet, handsomely appointed and very comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Good continental breakfast saves money and time.
Courteous staff, great location, clean, good breakfast, cookies, wine tasting
It was a great location, great to have a seperate living room. Friendly and helpful staff.
It was pretty noisy in the mornings, we could hear pipes and coughing in the rooms above us. But I understand they are having some work done that might help the problem.
excellent staff and easy walking to shopping and restaurants
too short a stay. one night wasn't enough time to enjoy portland
The Staff was very friendly, helpful and informative! The cookies, wine and coffee were also a bonus.
Too much light came in around shade. Room did not get dark enough.
central location, helpful staff, quite and clean rooms
-great location -good variety and quantities in the continental breakfast -wonderful latte machine available all day -handy secure parking included in/out
-limited hot water at peak morning time
The location on the edge of the Pearl District
The rooms were dismal, bathroom tiny and the price way too high for what you get.
Everything !! The position was great , u cod walk to everything . Comfiest bed I've ever slept in . Staff really helpful , especially the concierge.
loved the centralized downtown location, charming rooms, next to an empty lot so we could walk our dog, onsite underground parking, fridge, large windows/natural light, curtains to block light, closet space, EXCELLENT customer service and friendly staff.
a little bit dated - but it has lovely charm - and that keeps location affordable so really it's a positive for me.
The hallways smell funny and there was a hole in one of our walls. We were looking for something up kept and classy for a comfortable, romantic, one night stay and what we got was feeling like we spent the night in our grandma's basement. We are not high maintenance people, the pictures online are just very deceiving. This was not worth what we paid. We were very let down.
Building. Location. Quiet
The view from my window. Terrible. Room 503
Comfortable room, nice breakfast, cookies in the afternoon, cheese and a bit of wine for happy hour and an ever present coffee machine with a good selection of options. Garage parking (extra cost but convenient. Wonderful location near the Pearl district.
the king size bed was fabulous
was expecting a larger room for the price
The location was perfect for MAX, streetcar, walking, eating, drinking and coffee. I had a jr suite and was very pleased. Breakfast options were somewhat limited but didn't matter to me. There are many options for lodging in this area but I think this is at the top of the list. The sunrise and early evening view was spectacular from 607.
Elevators a bit slow. Took some time for hot water to reach the shower on several occasions. Minor issues.
was the perfect location for us for or planned activities. Very clean & comfortable. Late check out was nice, but not the late check in...for the money spent.
Waiting for the room to be ready. We were told we world be contacted on my cell when it was ready, then waited in the reception area, reading, etc., then started noticing that people were getting their rooms before us & another couple that had been waiting. We were never called. We wound up getting another room...an upgrade & it was very nice, but was still irritated that they dropped the ball.
