I competed in the Trailseekers MTB race, and need a property close to Bosman Family Farm. This was the best choice for me. Property was very neat and the room exceedingly clean. Really nice have have so many amenities options in the room. Extra soap and shower gel, towels, bath and shower options. Swimming pool was a great addition, very clean and perfect for a summer afternoon. Anja and Peter were great hosts.

We enjoyed our stay at Rooiheuwel. We were in the area for a wedding, and the location was very convenient, as well as access. We thoroughly enjoyed having the animals around to entertain us too. Very cute dogs & cat. Anina was very accommodating and communication was great.

We were attending a family wedding at the Tannery which was magical. The weather in Wellington was warm and sunny with little to no wind which was a welcome relief after the wind in Cape Town.
We enjoyed being able to walk from our guest House into town to have a lovely dinner at Osteria Prego and a breakfast at 55 Croissants.
The car museum at the Tannery was an unexpected surprise.
We unfortunately did not have time to try any of the wine farms in Wellington but had a lovely day out in Franschoek doing the wine Tram (Pink route).

Have visited Wellington before - we love it.
Have visited Wellington before - we love it. Plenty of things to do fo adults, but maybe not as much for children.
Shops, vineyards, restaurants and scenery to die for.
Fave places to eat range from the Geko lounge (best sushi in the world) modest pricing, to Hope at Diemersfontein (2 or 3 course meals with an Aisian twist)
It's a great place to use as a base to see the local area - beach, golf, vineyards, safari, wildlife etc.
People are incredibly friendly and eager to accommodate.

I liked this small, quaint and peaceful town very much.
I liked this small, quaint and peaceful town very much. It is not as busy as Paarl which had far more traffic than we anticipated. Wellington still retains the countryside tranquility which one wants when travelling out from the city. And it even has a small Mall with literally everything you need, from Woolies and Clicks to Checkers and a Spur Steak Ranch! Also enough restaurants and pubs to ensure a bit of a social life for those who might feel hedged in at the guesthouses. We did not have time to explore the town but hopefully will do so upon our return visit.

Our stay started off with a bump.
Our stay started off with a bump. The reception staff did not let us know that if you came in after 10H30 that you had to use a back door. I would suggest that they put up a notice and direction to wear to go, as well as a visible emergency no. We struggled for one hour to get to our room, and it was raining. This was Friday night. A wonderful breakfast very, help full staff and that bad experience was a faded memory.
I would be coming back, for the view, the food, and the wine it was a sanctuary to get away to.
I love the town, but you could just stay in and enjoy Val du Charron and all it has to offer.
Remember your back door!

Wellington has a scenic view of the mountains.
Wellington has a scenic view of the mountains. It’s also very close to the vineyard and has a breeze of fresh air every moment. Summer is the best time to visit.
The town is a refurbished version of 7 de laan. It has vintage buildings with fresh paint on each.

We weren't there to explore the town as we went to Pinotage on Tap for the day. However, we did end up going to Gecko Craft after the afternoon at the wine farm and would definitely recommend them to anyone going to Wellington. Their food is great and prices very fair.
Littlevlei Self-catering Wellington IS a gem! The house is great value for money, has everything you need, and the hosts were friendly, accommodating and took care of any requests. The house is private, clean, neat and modern. They also provided lots of firewood on a very stormy evening, which made for a cosy, warm evening by the fire. The canola fields in the background and all the sheep and lambs made for a peaceful, idyllic setting for a peaceful weekend stay. Thank you for having us!
Absolutely loved our stay from the start. Our host Elicia was very gracious. She welcomed us at the agreed time and even allowed us a late check out. The apartment is really well finished, well furnished and immaculately clean. Even the tea towels looked new. I will definitely book this again when I need to stay in Wellington.
This was the weekend away that I needed. Not far from Cape Town, and you feel like you are miles away. I appreciate the attention to detail, added amenities, and special touches. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and has a selection of proper wine and champagne glasses. The outdoor shower is such a treat.
Our hosts graciously accommodated our early arrival (es tut mir leid!) The property is gorgeous as is the setting. The cottage was sufficiently rustic whilst having all mod cons - actually one of the best equipped accommodations we've stayed at. Wellington itself impressed as well. We'll be back!
The ambiance was calm and welcomIng. It is as if time takes a break at the Oude Wellington. The stars come closer at night and your day is relaxed and easy. The St Barnard puppy was the cherry on the cake. He was a ball of fur-fun.
A most enjoyable and comfortable stay. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The host went out of her way to accommodate our every need. When I visit this area again, Wellington Country House will be my first choice.
Cosy. The heating panels. Warm blankets.
Our host helped out with an emergency washimg situation.
Absolute gem in Wellington. All the comforts from home. We loved it ❤️ will be back !! Thank you sooo much
The guesthouse was very cosy and clean, with excellent facilities and great views of the Wellington/Paarl mountains!
I would definitely recommend Sweetwater for an easy lockup and go style accommodation.
