The rooms in the inn are fitted with a coffee machine. Rooms are fitted with a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. At Crown & Punchbowl, all rooms come with air conditioning and a flat-screen TV.

The village location was beautiful, a small village with several restored thatched roof cottages. The village is small and remote from shops or anything commercial, however the walk along the Cam river is beautiful. The refurbishment of the property has been done to retain the character of its age. The food is not just pub food, home made cheese, sauces, pies and everything! The halloumi chips with Chile sauce alone are worth going back for! great staff with a great passion for what they do.

At the inn, every room is equipped with a desk and a TV.

Cambridge is 5 km from MJPatTheShepherds, while Bury Saint Edmunds is 45 km away. Newmarket Racecourses is 17.7 km away from the property. The nearest airport is Cambridge Airport, 1.7 km from the inn.

Although we had a change of plans and made separate bookings for consecutive days of stay, the host had been very helpful in arranging the rooms. The rooms appeared recently renovated and are tidy and cosy (but perhaps an extra chair can add to the convenience?). Bathroom facilities are good. I could not remember whether WIFI is free, however, there is free Netflix and internet in the entertainment bundle. Parking is just outside the rooms, but if the vehicle is large it will take some skills to manoeuvre. Breakfast: English breakfast with orange juice, chocolate pastry, and coffee/tea. We mostly just spent the nights there and did not hang around long enough to explore the rest of the compound.

The location (for me) is excellent. Bus stop for Cambridge City Centre right in front of the door. Also a Tesco mini supermarket. 4 pubs/restaurants almost adjacent as is a Post Office, Chemist, hairdresser etc as well as a fish and chip shop and other shops a short walk away. Room has everything you need and the Pub is fabulous with good food and drinks. Good value for the money (only 4 rooms so advance booking essential. Free parking.

The Red Lion Hotel dates back to the 13th century and features wooden beams hand-carved by Carmelite monks. The inn is situated in Whittlesford Bridge, just 2 miles from Duxford, and offers elegant rooms with Hypnos beds.

Great room, great service, Bret gave the warmest of welcomes after a long drive. Only stayed one night as passing through, highly recommend and will be going back when next in the area.

This traditional coaching inn situated in the quiet and picturesque village of Fulbourn, just 6.4 km from Cambridge city centre.

The White Hart is extremely well-presented and enjoys a prominent location in the village, with easy access to and from Cambridge and its surrounding areas. Fulbourn has an excellent bus service, and a ‘park and ride’ service is nearby.

I had the full English and it did not disappoint,as well as having fresh orange juice and cereals already on the table as we arrived to say we were happy is an understatement

The location is amazing, beautiful, and very peaceful! We definitely enjoyed the outdoor farms and the black sheep, and especially the rustic environment of the hotel itself and room. It is definitely an amazing place to relax and the room was also comfortable and nice! I would definitely consider coming here again just for a relaxing break! The location is also not too bad (especially if you have a car), and walking distance is not that far from the Western part of Cambridge that is close to Robinson College. :)

The room was super clean! I've stayed in quite a few guest houses across the UK, and this was definitely a winner in terms of cleanliness, its hosts obviously do a great job maintaining the premises. And it was really cosy!
