What a fantastic place!? A beautiful location in the Staffordshire countryside. The property itself has been set up wonderfully, with an outside sitting area and beautiful surrounding gardens. It is only a 15 min drive to Alton Towers, which is why we went, but it was a lovely place to stay. The fan was a great extra touch because when we stayed, it was 30 degrees that day! A great breakfast in the morning too.

Everything was perfect. The location is excellent, it's 5 minutes walk to the town center. We stayed here to attend Uttoxeter races, this is within walking distance. The room is very nice, it has a big ensuite and everything you need (home from home). Also as an extra bonus to the room.. the bed is really really comfortable. Peter is a great host. Thank you for a perfect stay 😁

Extremely easy access via a lock box. The code was provided well in advance. Plenty of items and utensils in the kitchen. The washing machine and dishwashers were very handy. Antibacterial hand wash at each sink. Plenty of towels and a good supply of tea towels to see us through the week. Very friendly hosts!

The main room and en suite were very spacious and bright, the room had plenty of storage space, a little table / mirror set-up which was ideal for getting ready to go out. All the windows opened (with fall prevention devices). The bed was super comfortable. Private hotel parking was a bonus although on-street parking close by was ample. Upon arriving, the entrance is just off a roundabout. A bit of a squeeze to get past the locked gate and bush to enter the car park. Entering the B&B, there is a couple of steps to the entrance, I did spot a ramp inside the foyer but didn’t see any ground floor rooms that didn’t require going up stairs. I may be wrong on that though as we were a different side of the place.
