Facing the beachfront, そらやまゲストハウス Sorayama guesthouse offers 2-star accommodation in Ino and has a shared lounge, garden and terrace. Amazing hosts that gave us great tips where to eat, what to visit, etc. They really took care of us! The room is great, especially if you have a view on the river. They also have a nice communal room and terrace where you can BBQ or meet other travellers. The convenience store is right next door :) There is also an onsen closeby (walking distance). Other sightseeing is best done by car. It is amazing to swim in the river next to the guesthouse, super clear water and they created a nice little beach.

Offering a garden and quiet street view, Shimanto Riverside Hideaway is situated in Shimanto, 12 km from Shimanto Historical Museum and 12 km from Ichijo Shrine. The location was good for being away from the city and feeling secluded. Great privacy and lots of nature to explore.

Situated in Shimanto-cho, EkimaehouseSamaru is a recently renovated accommodation, 13 km from Kaiyodo Hobby Museum Shimanto and 24 km from Monjudo Temple. Loved everything! Great value for money, perfect getaway.

Situated in Konan in the Kochi region, Guesthouse Suisennosato features a garden. The size of the room and comfort of the bed were excellent. t is very close to a convenience store. There is plenty of space for parking. But the best thing was the friendliness and helpfulness of the host.

Located a 12-minute walk or a 3-minute bus ride from JR Kochi Station north exit, Katsuo Guest House offers Japanese-style dormitory rooms with air conditioning. Maki was so friendly, welcoming and helpful! She recommended local restaurants for dinner, and invited me to join the tacoyaki party they were having that evening. The 8 bed dorm was lovely- gorgeous wood beds and cool decor. The beds were comfy and private. I was lucky since there were only 4 of us in the room, but I think it would be spacious enough even if it were full. Definitely the nicest guesthouse I’ve stayed at in Japan.

The host is very kind to wait for us to introduce us the facility and even come back to apply futon for us. The host is very kind and nice I ever meet in Japan.
