This is one of the most relaxing and best run places I have ever stayed in. From the moment I arrived the Haberl family and their fantastic staff seemed to regard looking after me as their top priority. All are immaculate, quiet but fast and efficient, polite, helpful without being intrusive and always friendly. The hotel itself is top notch quality, very clean, spacious, homely, plenty of daylight, colourful and excellently maintained. I drove round the Attersee lake today - I know it pretty well anyway, I've been coming here for years. No other location to match Hotel Haberl! Breathtaking panoramic views from one terrace, a spectacular peaceful view over the vast golf course from the other. Fabulous food - big thanks to Mrs Haberl and her team! - the very varied breakfast buffet alone is simply superb, totally fresh and appetizing. I was lulled into savouring the peaceful surroundings, watching the distant life on the road roll quietly by, marveling at the changing light and weather (great for me as an en plein air artist). A golden wheat field grew just yards from my table where skimming house martins put on a continuous, mesmerising aerobatic show. It takes just a few minutes by foot or car to reach Hotel Haberl's peaceful and big private meadow right on the lakeside with its cosy wooden cabin, equipped with clean toilets, changing cubicles, parking, etc. I was down there before 6 to paint the sunrise and 8 ducklings waddled over to welcome me, rubbed their beaks gently in my hand, even let me stroke them. If you want a place to 'get away from it all', somewhere to recharge your batteries, Hotel Haberl is a brilliant choice and I heartily recommend you stay here. Sounds like paradise? You bet! I can't wait to go back.

Hotel Irmgard er staðsett í Strass im Attergau, 5 km frá vatninu, og býður upp á sjóndeildarhringssundlaug með sólbaðsflöt, heilsulindarsvæði, veitingastað og verönd með víðáttumiklu útsýni yfir... Very friendly and helpfull staff, owner on place and very nice svimming pool at roof. Undergroun parking for car and bicycles and nice food. From our point of view everythink perfect. Thank you Irmgrad ;-)

Landgasthof Spitzerwirt er staðsett á friðsælum stað í sveit á Attergau-svæðinu, 6 km frá Attersee-vatni. Nice traditional Austrian hotel. The interior is a bit dated - especially the bathrooms - but the rooms are spacious, the bed comfortable and I had a nice balcony. The room was clean and the breakfast had everything you could wish for. The best thing was the owner though. He was super friendly and accommodating.

Hotel Hofer er staðsett í Strass im Attergau, 3 km frá Attersee-vatni og 35 km frá Salzburg, en það býður upp á útisundlaug og barnaleikvöll. Keilusalur og veitingastaður eru á staðnum. The hotel sits on a green hill and enjoys a breathtaking, first-row view of the valley below and of the lake - especially from the generous terrace used for breakfasts and dinners. Our 3-night stay was absolutely great. We felt welcome right away as we were so lucky to get upgraded to a family suite with view on the lake by the management. So did our dog who stayed with us and enjoyed the green, pristine hills surrounding the hotel, to the point of meeting - and chasing - a deer on her first walk at our arrival. The hotel management seems family-run and was exceptionally friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was fresh and varied. Altogether an amazing value for the money! The Attersee lake - just a few minutes drive - with its clear, turquoise waters and green, mountainous surroundings overwhelmed our senses. And so did the city of Salzburg just a 40min drive away. We can only recommend this hotel!

Voralpenhotel Schmoller er staðsett í Sankt Georgen am Attergau, 35 km frá Salzburg, og býður upp á heilsulindarsvæði með innisundlaug og gufubaði ásamt veitingastað sem framreiðir hefðbundna... Wonderfull people, wonderfull place!!! We return every year with joy! Very good food!

Landhotel Waldmühle er staðsett á rólegum stað í sveit, í 5 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá ströndum Attersee-vatns og býður upp á garð með barnaleikvelli. Ókeypis WiFi er til staðar. I liked that they have horses, ducks, bunnies, cats and a doggo. Love how friendly and helpful and accommodating the entire staff is. The host family is lovely! The location is beautiful, behind the mountains, so close to the lake Atersee...5min by car, Wolfgangsee is 26min by car and Mondsee also something like 28min by car. The breakfast is served buffet style and from the croissant to the omelette to the yogurt to the juice to the bread...oh the bread.....so so so good. The fruits as well, everything fresh and deliciously prepared. Very comfortable and cozy outside with the chairs and swings, me and Lucky sat there outside enjoying the nice weather and beautiful view. The beds are comfortable and the shower is ok, maybe a tiny tiny bit box would be great, but the shower pressure was good too....The bed was comfortable for me who like a bit more to softer side....was great I slept like a baby... The hotel is decorated in a very cozy and nice style. I forgot..the balcony has no light but is solved by leaving the bedroom light on...I loved everything about this hotel and I cannot wait to come again asap. Book early cus is always sold out...we got so lucky to get this hotel in high season for an affordable price.

Lexenhof er staðsett í Nussdorf am Attersee og hefur verið fjölskyldurekið síðan 1447. Gististaðurinn er aðeins 400 metra frá Attersee-vatni og er með aðgang að almenningsströnd með strandbar. Great location; Great Hotel and a great friendly service. Any time again :)

Hotel Lohninger-Schober er staðsett á rólegum stað nálægt St. Georgen, á norðurhluta Salzkammergut-svæðisins. The service was very everyone very nice. And the breakfast was good nice selection.
