The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, the included buffet at Tabaiba was really good, and if you are half board you get to eat at the specialised restaurants 3 times per week as well, my favourite of which was the Italian dolce vita. I loved the spa and went there 4 times during my stay, it had some nice heated lemon and flower scented baths, a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, heated pool and a sensory pebble walk. I also had a hot stone massage which was very relaxing.

We have often dropped down to the Atlantic, about 300m, for coastline walk on Paseo Marítimo San Marcial. Lanzarote offers solid cycling routes for road and off road enthusiasts, I am one of them. There is one exclusive road out of Playa Blanca, LZ-701, which takes you to La Hoya from where many routes begin. I have also attached the layout of the Villas Residential for orientation because it can be tricky to allocate your villa when you arrive at night.
