The bar and swimming pool area, very relaxing and beautiful. The service at the bar was nice, and there was a possibility to rent your own private transats, a bit secluded from the others. From the pool service, you can easily access a promenade place to the sea, its very nice and peaceful.
The staff is very nice too, you can easily order a taxi in the reception.
Lots of activities organised by the hotel too (although I did not attend).
There is also a reception bar, opened until late, with good cocktails

The staff were very welcoming and were extremely attentive, each time we interacted with one they made our daughter feel like the star attraction which was lovely.
The cleanliness was fantastic, I don't think I saw a wrapper anywhere.
The thing that sticks out the most which was incredible is the pool toy recycling box, when it gets to the end of the holiday you put your toys in for the next child to play with instead of buying new ones each time and dumping them somewhere or binning them.
Beer was fantastic too

The lobby and lobby bar were magnificent. Beautiful property overall. The Privilege option was nice with an upgraded sea view room. full service dining rooms, and a separate lounge adjacent to the lobby.. The breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing. The best breakfast by far among the ten properties where we stayed during our travels through Spain, Portugal and the Canaries. The spa was also very nice with multiple pools, saunas, etc.

Our suite was amazing and had pool and ocean views (Room 220- request it, you won’t regret it) and it was steps from the pool bar and restaurant. It was spacious, updated, clean and the beds were decent. It was also nice to have a separate sitting room with couch and tv for times when you wanted to be out of the sun.
Staff was very friendly and helpful

Playa Blanca is the newest, and arguably quietest, large resort on Lanzarote, which makes it popular with families. It is partially sheltered from the Atlantic winds by the dormant Montaña Roja volcano, and volcanic rock lines its sandy beaches which are spread around a bay.
There are 3 main beaches: Playa Dorada which is popular for watersports, Playa Blanca – the most peaceful, and Playa Flamingo which is overlooked by shops, bars and restaurants serving locally caught seafood. Further east the long stretches of sand give way to the rocky Papagayo Coves whose beautiful scenery is depicted on many a postcard.
A promenade linking the 3 beaches is lined with luxury hotels and resorts available on Booking.com, many offering all inclusive options and some even have their own water park. There are also lots of cheap apartments and private villas in Playa Blanca, some of which overlook Marina Rubicon. The Castillo de las Colorados watchtower sits on a rugged piece of headland looking across the Atlantic Ocean towards the hilly terrain of Fuerteventura.
Ferries to this neighbouring Canary Island depart from just across the bay and offer beautiful views back across the whitewashed buildings towards the mountains behind Playa Blanca.

Having been to Playa Blanca in excess of twenty times, it clearly is a place we like to go. There are many villa types, good hotels, so plenty of choice to suit most budgets. Dorado beach and beach bar is excellent with plenty of reasonably prices sunbeds and umbrellas. The promenade and town have a great number of good restaurants , bars and shops, there is something for everyone. Plus of course the weather is generally very good all year round.

If you want somewhere a bit quieter than Puerto del carman...
If you want somewhere a bit quieter than Puerto del carman or Costa Teguise, but still with plenty to do and see, lovely beaches, busy marina and lots of restaurants, Playa Blanca is the place for you.
The hotel building and grounds were very nice and well decorated.
The room was a nice size and well laid out and decorated.
The pools were great. We didn't get preferred club access and didn't miss it as there were two big pool areas to hang out in, each with their own bar. I think the preferred club would only be worth it if you wanted to get away from children.
The location is perfect, close to the beach and restaurants/bars of Playa Blanca and Marina Rubicon. It's a really nice area.
The location is excellent near to Playa de Papagayo beach which is beautiful, local bars, shops and restaurants. The villa itself is ideal and has everything you need including a pool, 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms, in a nutshell it is ideal for a family wanting to be close to everything but also in a quieter location. The centre of Playa Blanca and the main marina is still only a few minutes away in a taxi or 25-30 minutes stroll along the coast.
The staff, cleanliness and overall location of the hotel were great. Self catering apartment was modern, clean, spacious and had all the necessary utensils. Shop for food and drinks was just 2 minutes down the road. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the marina, and a 15 min walk into playa blanca. Large pool with plenty of sunbeds. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again.
The property is nowhere near it shows on the map, it is an hours walk into Playa Blanca. Luckily the lady in the local office was wonderful, she dealt with Bookiply and we were moved the next day.
The code for the gate entrance was wrong and it took us ages to get in. The villa is shabby and in desperate need of some love and attention.
Wonderful hotel!! friendly hard working staff, fabulous half board food, comfy room with gorgeous sunset or sunrise view rooms. great quiet area of playa blanca with lovely promenade walks in each direction. would def recommend this adults only.
