I guess I would prefer to be on the other side of the bridge. On the other hand, it is probably noisier there. So, maybe it’s better where it is… the rooms are small but adequate. I would like a couple television stations in English. I was only able to find one.

I have stayed here before and will stay again. The hotel is clean, well-located (about. 7-10 minute walk across the bridge to the area where tourists will want to eat and shop), has an excellent breakfast buffet, very helpful and accommodating staff, and has Old World charm.

I do not have a single complain of my stay at this hotel. Everything was just as expected and I was not disappointed in any way, not by the accommodations or by the staff.

I visited Vienna for a week on the early Spring of 2024 and stayed at the Hotel Stefanie. Hotel Stefanie is the oldest hotel in Vienna and it does live up to the name. The hotel has a charming 19th Century atmosphere without sacrificing modern amenities. Rooms are super-clean and staff is very helpful and polite. The location is exceptional for anyone visiting the city centre. Hotel Stefanie is not the most luxurious or biggest hotel in Vienna but it is great value for the price. I would not hesitate staying at this hotel again.

Very clean. Very good breakfast. Nice bar where you can have something to eat until 11 pm. A restaurant is also available on site. About 15 minutes' pleasant walk from the hub of the city. About 7 minutes to the Underground station. I would go back if I were to visit Vienna again.

The outside front entrance was modern and did not blend with the inside. It's not that it is unattractive, it just contradicts the rest of the hotel. 786-357-6207

I loved the history and charm of this hotel. I liked the old keys and the old front desk and all the old wood panels and doors. The breakfast was wonderful. The front staff was welcoming, very professional, very helpful, and very pleasant. We enjoyed the Hotel Stefanie.

My bedroom was on the first floor and when I opened the window the smell of cigarettes was very strong.

1. Ocasionally there was a bad sewage smell from the bathroom, for 2 days. It started and ended quite randomly, no idea what was it. 2. No dinner service into the room, but restaurant was great, hence eventually not a big issue.

Team even provided us with free ealy check-in upon our early arrival. 3. Interesting hotel with history, great restaurant, and perfect location. 4. Great breakfast - we enjoyed the food very much, small things like yogurt even were made locally made. All was tasty, and very nice service. 5. No issues neither during arrival, stay or while checkout.

Perhaps I am being uncritical but I cannot think of anything that I disliked. You might think from what I have written that the hotel would appeal more to oldies like me. However, there were plenty of young people staying there at the same time as me, and they all seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I really enjoyed the four nights I spent at this hotel. It's nicely located a few minutes' walk from Schwedenplatz. The room was comfortable and quiet. You get a proper key, which you hand in at the desk when you go out. I slept very well on all four nights. There was a minibar, which I didn't use. Breakfast is in a large restaurant and is excellent. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. What I liked most about this hotel, and what makes me want to stay there again if I am in Vienna, is its lovely old-world charm. I suppose you would expect this in a hotel that describes itself as the oldest in Vienna, but even so, it's a real pleasure to experience it.
