It's a ten minute walk into the centre of Aix, but we knew that when we booked. Not really a problem.

Lovely hotel set in beautiful tree-shaded grounds studded with fountains. Nice, clean room, helpful staff. Good food and a nice bar in the gardens.

Everything was very comfortable and we felt fully looked after, despite the weather (pouring rain). The restaurant was excellent - but we could not afford to take dinner there for both nights. A bonus was being able to see Mont Sainte Victoire for a gazebo in the grounds - and the rain kept off then.

The common areas can use a rehab- lighting is terrible in the dining room and looks very dated Gardens are nice , but could be improved Lots of potential but currently would not recommend - specially considering the high prices Breakfast is terrible

Nothing I can recall. It is about a 20 minute walk to the old town, so, after a day of walking, we often choose a taxi when we returned to the old town for dinner. Walking home after dinner was pleasant as it had cooled down and the boulivard was much quieter.

The room was spacious and clean. The furnishings, though modern, were stylish. The restaurant, especially for dinner had good food and and is set in an enchanting courtyard. The staff also helped arranged some fairly complicated shipping for us.

If there rooms were a little bigger it would allow you to relax in there as well. I also like a separate shower.

The ambience of the place was lovely and the staff were very considerate and helpful. It was a perfect place to relax and unwind.

The only fault was that we arrived with2 full cases as we were in France for 2 weeks and there wasn’t a lot of cupboard space but the hotel and the staff were so lovely that it made up for it.

The garden area was stunning and having breakfast there every morning was quite heavenly. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.

Nothing worth mentioning! I had a minor issue with my original room (nothing wrong with the room itself, just a personal preference), and the receptionist moved me to a different one within 10 minutes! I really couldn't fault any part of my stay.

The breakfast was served in beautiful surrounds in the gardens, under the shelter of trees, and there was a nice selection of fresh food. The staff were exceptional - nothing was too much trouble. The concierge and receptionist were so warm and welcoming and made every effort to ensure my stay was perfect. All other staff too, from the people working by the pool or the bar, to the housekeepers - everyone was friendly and attentive. A true 5* service. The pool was exquisite too, clean, uncrowded and the perfect temperature to cool off in the hot sun, with refreshments delivered to your bed as and when you needed them, along with fresh towels.

We were in the annexe/bungalow after being offered an upgrade which was lovely. The staff was warm, parking was convenient and on-site. A short walk to the centre of the city and a super short cab ride back in the evenings. Breakfast was delightful and drinks under the canopies in the garden even more so. Highly recommend.
