No hot water, only a cold shower and the room in the basement was pretty small for six people (3 regular beds) but for our needs it was okay.

We were rebooked to this hotel by Booking as our original acommodation was cancelled at the last minute. We booked this in the evening and were acommodated a hour later, which was nice. Location was very good.

From a 2-star hotel in London, you expect that it will have cheap materials and lack of services, but not broken in any way. In fact - the window in the room did not close, there were no light bulbs in the bedside lamps, as well as hot/warm water in the shower. Carpets smell and require change

The building is alright, it’s old and squeaky. So you hear everything that is going on around you. The room is quite small which was alright. - bed sheets were dirty and stained. - the sink light didn’t work and the over the bed lamp didn’t work. - the heater was constantly going, even when turned off. -

You get what you pay for. It’s an awesome location, close to the train station and with lots of options for food. Great budget option.

Sharing bathrooms. Someone tried to open whilst I was inside, luckily enough had locked from inside.

The receptionist welcomed us in a friendly way and we felt like as if we were at home. Provision of extra bed linen in the cupboards.

Internet kept cutting out, and since the reception on the TV was bad, the internet was the only way to watch TV. The room was at the back, across a covered courtyard beyond the breakfast room, so probably needed an internet booster. The room was a very small single, but with toilet and shower, and at a reasonable price for the location. Some deferred maintenance- cracked outlet cover and shelf needed in the bathroom.

Central London location at a budget price. A short stroll to Earls Court tube, which means all my locations were within about 30 minutes travel time. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby.

Where do I begin honestly?! Litany of problems - room stunk of cigarette smoke, comical shower arrangement where the controls are outside if your selection is inappropriate and you have hopped in you are kind of stuffed coming out of the shower to sort it. There was no hot water in the room tap or indeed the communal bathroom, had to go to the next communal shower room to seek hot water. Stains on towels and very worn out mattress that requires a replacement. The centrality of the property brings the unavoidable noise day and night - earplugs which I didn't gave may or may not have helped

The 24 hour reception service and ability to leave luggage for a period of time. Special thank yous to Mina and George for their warmth, professionalism, willingness to help guests. Teas and kettle provided. Okay for a night
