To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Comfy, great deal for money, close to park, quiet and clean with a very nice garden. The shared bathroom was very close to the room and it was not shared with a lot of guests so it felt more or less like our own

Great location very close to Hyde Park and Bayswater Road. Good sized room and very comfortable beds. Good breakfast - cooked breakfast plus lots of other options. Very cost effective given the location and staff very helpful and friendly. Shared bathroom but sink and mirror in room. Small courtyard with tables/chairs. Would definitely stay again when next in London.

United KingdomThe bed was a little too firm and the duvet too small and thin. It got a little cold at night due to the duvet being too small (even for a single bed)
The staff welcomed me and made me feel very welcome, both the reception and the kitchen/breakfast staff were a delight and brightened my day to talk to. The breakfast was also very good value, freshly cooked English Breakfast with a buffet of Fruit, yoghurt, cereal, juices and coffee. Great value. Everything was spotless including room and shared bathrooms, also to note they supplied shower gel & shampoo with fresh soft clean towels, something I often do not get for the price of this hotel. I humbly recommend this hotel.

SpainThis is out of pure laziness, the room was at the very top of the hotel and there are no elevators. I got used to it immediately but after walking around London the last flight of stairs were often a struggle. However, the place is clean and original.
The service was great. The people working there were very kind. I went travelling on my own and felt safe in the hotel and in the area. I would recommend.

United KingdomRoom 14 - very odd to have the bedside lamp behind the bed; also no bedside table (I had to drag the chair across). The cord on the kettle was too short to leave it on the table, ended up plugging in the kettle and using it on the floor. Overall, these were minor inconveniences though.
Great location. Cooked breakfast was a bonus. Lovely offer to keep luggage before/after stay, although I didn’t use it. I thought the 11am check out time was great so I didn’t have to rush in the morning.

SwedenThere is no elevator, and the room door is quite old and I didn’t feel so secure when we locked the door to go out for the day. It looked/felt like the room can easily be broken into. All beds (5 of them) were squeaky, but it wasn’t too bad to sleep in.
Location was very nice. It’s close to two underground stations and a number of bus stops. Kensington/Hyde park is very close also. The room is clean and tidy. Staff are also very kind and friendly.
