The stairs smell horrendous, however the room was okay. The beds mattress was not the most comfortable. The walls and windows were paper thin which meant very noisy and hard to sleep. The TV didn’t even work? You can only broadcast picture from a phone/laptop to view on the tv. Also the toilet crammed into a small cubby hole lol.

Welcoming, polite. Clean room and bathroom. Fridge in the room which was very useful! Easy to check out service. Good heating (radiator + standing heater)

I didn't realise the room wasn't en suite, I some missed that but it was ok. In the description it stated that at the weekends it might be noisy due to the nightclub/bar underneath the rooms. It's not clear enough that the rooms are immediately above the nightclub and the club goes well beyond the early hours. It was close to 4am before I managed to get to sleep.

Potent smell along the stairs leading up to the guest corridor and room. There was a fair level of activity and noise due to the location, but we had anticipated this and it wasn’t too bad (we stayed Monday-Tuesday). Could hear other guests cackling quite clearly through the walls at 2.30 am.

Great location, liked how chill the staff were. Facilities were nice and clean. Fresh towels provided. Easy check-in, convenient check-out system.

The beds were very uncomfortable, genuinely like sleeping on the floor and a singular pillow that have all seen better days. None of us had a decent night sleep, noise taken into consideration too.

We just needed a cheap hotel in the city to get a coach next morning, so location is decent. Perfect for nights out in the gay village and surrounding area.

The area of this property is very very noisy until late night, or even early morning, at weekends. The bed was not very comfortable because the mattress was too hard to sleep on. Another negative experience is extremely squeeky floor in the room. You just cannot avoid it. The biggest minus in my opinion is the property cleanliness, as it is not there in a suitable level. From dirty floor, to bed linens. For this reason I decided not to use the shower after I looked at it. Something that needs a lot of improvement. But as you know, you pay for what you get.

Located just 7 minutes walk from Piccadilly Train Station, in a nice area with nearby park. Good price, exactly what I needed for just have a bed before my early morning flight. Price is the only reason I booked this property.

Lack of mirrors in the bathroom. Wasn't a fan of the bathrooms being a shared bathroom but that's just personal preference. Wasn't really an inconvenience. Rooms could use a little decor spruce up but for the price again at £35 a night I really can't complain.

On reading the reviews after booking I'll be honest I was a tad concerned. But honestly, the beds were clean and comfortable. The staff were absolute sweethearts. The rooms were clean. The location was fab and I can't speak for weekends but mid week it was as quiet as you can expect for a room on a street with heavy footfall. Will definitely book again if town for another gig.

Didn’t mention we were above a night club that doesn’t close until 5am. Very poor sleep and the rooms don’t keep much noise out so you can hear everything from music thumping to the karaoke, people shouting and singing etc and the DJ on the microphone talking. Very loud.

Great location, but that's about it. Booked it for a night out, so all I needed was a place to sleep, which this place did provide. There is a workspace if you need to do any work in the room.

HORRENDOUS smell when going upstairs to the rooms, and i’m not exaggerating it was abysmal. noice on a Tuesday wasn’t too bad but did take a while to fall asleep. The rooms could use some much needed TLC but again- price wise and for one night- can’t complain overly.

The rooms were okay, tv didn’t work, hard mattress, hard pillows. smelled a little of damp but overall you get what you pay for. the toilets were clean, so that was nice.

I’m not bothered by noise but I can see that if I was the slight bleed could be annoying?

I was glad of its central location in the village. I didn’t end up needing to sleep in the room but just showered and dressed there and left my bag while out on the town. The bed seemed to be comfortable. The fact that the key could just be left in a box meant that after this I could just go on to another location and not have to bother anyone about it or explain why I was leaving at 20:00. I got the feeling that the staff would understand anyway. I love that there is a bar and a pub attached. Cozy vibes

Situated above a bar and club, our room was quite noisy due to poorly insulated windows, making it challenging to fall asleep. Despite staying from Sunday to Monday, loud noises, including people screaming, persisted until 1 am.

The hotel is situated in the center of the city, in close proximity to the train station. It offers affordable rates and is perfect for a one-night stay. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to meet them.
