    Having to leave!!!

The property was brilliant. From the welcome at reception on arrival to leaving, we had a great time. It was a hot weekend and we spent a few hours in the beer garden relaxing. The room was very comfortable and had tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was very spacious with a good quality bath tub and efficient shower. The towels were good quality and everything was very clean. The only thing I didn’t like was, there was not hand rail for getting in and out of the shower . The food was excellent.

There was no dressing table in the room so unable to blow dry hair. This had to be done in the bathroom so it was a good job I brought my hairdryer as the lead was long and I could plug it in the living room area. There was one staff member at breakfast that took a joke way too far and ruined breakfast for us

The hotel was lovely and the location was beautiful

At time of booking it said we got a free room upgrade. On arrival we were given a room at top of hotel up several flights of steep stairs. Room was small (and this was supposed to be an upgrade!) sloping ceiling so had to be careful not to bang head. Room overlooked car park. Window sills dirty. Coffee was really strong nespresso pods, no instant sachets and no biscuits!

Great location, lovely restaurant with a really nice atmosphere (and food) friendly staff, good shower. We got a space in car park but it is very small.

Food wasn’t great and expensive. We had dinner on Sunday evening….limited menu and lots of options they had run out of. Breakfast was average, one staff member was disgruntled at having to do early morning breakfast shift and this clearly reflected in the breakfast,

Location was fabulous located in the middle of Stow.

The walls are a bit thin but there’s nothing they can do about that.

The style of the hotel, the size of the room, the options for breakfast and the team. They were very friendly and professional. It’s also in a good location in Stow.

I didn’t like how the rooms were cleaned at different times so the day of checkout at 9 am could hear the cleaners and it almost felt like you needed to leave sooner than you needed to!

Loves the location the rooms were spacious and lovely! Very cosy and clean.

Room was lovely, but quite small - could have done with a little more space.

Location was EXCELLENT - right in the heart of Stow, and fabulous service at the front desk. Clean, tidy, cute room. Really cute, cottage-y vibe. Parking at the back too! Will definitely be back :)

Ordered warm Moroccan salad for dinner which missed key ingredients (no chickpeas). Order went in just before orders closed and it was like some things had just run out!

Breakfast was delicious and great value at £15. Good range of options and perfectly cooked poached eggs on sourdough. Staff very helpful and friendly. Location central and accessible. Quiet even though on main road.

I booked a premium double and had two single beds pushed together. I also booked a new in the bar stating we were celebrating my husband’s bday and this wasn’t acknowledged at all. Also I would have excepted to have shower cap and other small travel accessories in the room for the price.

The position and the restaurant/ bar was very nice.

The downside to having a larger quieter room was all the steps to reach it

We were upgraded to the superior room which was good as it was at the top of the hotel so we weren’t didn’t creaking floorboards above us. It was quite warm in the room but quickly remedied by turning the radiator down and opening a window
