The electricity points were low down and behind bits of furniture so were tricky to get to. One plug hole did not work. Had to boil the kettle on the floor. Breakfast - cooked hot breakfast was often cold - although you could ask for omelette or fried eggs made to order which was hot. Cold continental breakfast was nicer.

The staff were lovely - always friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room had an amazing high, decorated ceiling; the bed was large and comfortable. Bathroom was more modern and clean, towels were good quality. Location was excellent. Roof terrace was great.

Due to confused booking and two different names for the hotel on this site, I ended up paying twice for one room (one under each hotel name) even though all the details on the bookings were identical the hotel did not think to question this. When I recieved the booking acknowledgement the mistake was obvious. Despite immediately emailing the hotel they stuck to their no refund policy - very disppointing. Added to which a third charge for a room was erroneously made by the hotel due to an admin error.This was quickly resolved on arrival but very irritating.

Location great in a city where walking, cycling or scooters are the ideal means of getting round.. Breakfast was satisfactory - Hot food poor but cold choices excellent. Good restaurants in easy walking distance.

Noise in the corridor disturbed my sleep. Also the noise of the fans in the courtyard outside the window. Shower was not fantastic.

Could have had a better bathroom. For example, a bathroom with a bathtub would be great. It was a bad bathroom for that room. Air conditioner is very noisy.

Our hotel room was big and stunning. The hotel's garden, location and breakfast were very good. The breakfast had a variety that made people happy. The hotel makes people feel good. The breakfast and accommodation experience in the palace was very impressive. The wifi was very fast.

Beautiful location, not far from most tourist sites. It was a 10 minute walk from the tram stop from the airport (1.7 euros) Very friendly, helpful staff. Good value in December. I enjoyed my quiet room. Wonderful breakfast.

Eccentric layout of the building, with nothing at the actual entrance saying that it was the Hotel Bretagna.

Very helpful staff. Excellent breakfasts at "Foody Farm". The location is superb. We would often take our tea and sit on a balcony over the Arno (from one of the public rooms).

The staff in the breakfast area weren’t very friendly and felt very unwelcoming. It felt as though our presence was a bother. The gym equipment (which was the main reason for us booking this accommodation) was broken.

Odd shower not great for tall person, no nightly entertainment as the TV was purely Italian and nothing for English.

Excellent location, very nice and large room. Hot tub was nice touch, cool air conditioning worked great. Fantastic breakfast every morning. View of the river from our room made it more magical. We will be back!

We came in a side/back entrance which google maps brought us to. It was a little difficult to find the reception desk.

The location was good, it was just a short walk from amenities. The staff were very pleasant. The painted ceiling in our room (Room 4) was impressive. Netflix was available in the room. Good air conditioning in the room also. Breakfast was very good with a large selection of food to choose from, where all diets were catered for.

the shower set up in the jacuzzi tub. you couldn’t use it without spraying the entire bathroom. the jacuzzi tub was wonderful.

my room was very small, too hot & pokey to get to. windows opened out to overlook back buildings. after reading not to open windows as mosquitos may come in due it close location to the river, i noticed mosquitos in the bathroom. closed windows and then the room was too hot & air con didn’t do anything.
