Staying at the hotel was a very pleasant experience! The hotel is placed in a very convenient location. It’s about a 5-10 minute walk from the Colosseum and a 3-5 minute walk from Cavour Metro station. You can easily walk to most tourist attractions without needing transportation. They serve a good breakfast. The staff were also very helpful! Each day, they made sure we had a good plan and provided additional tips to enhance our experience. Alen and Donatella were amazing. I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay in Rome!

Our room was easy to get to on 2nd floor, clean, spacious for Rome standards and came with a nice breakfast. We slept like babies! Shower water pressure was great. Front desk staff was outstanding, very helpful with questions and getting taxis. Highly recommend! When searching for locations, I found Hotel Grifo to have a nice price in a central, fun neighborhood. Lots of places to eat, drink and be merry all around! Our golf cart tour guide told me I picked her favorite neighborhood to stay, Monti 😄

I would have liked a plain or almond croissant for breakfast and more of a choice of breads.

The hotel is located in a wonderful spot, you’re within 10 mins walking distance from most attractions. We were in a room in the annex and we came out of our front door to look at the Colloseum at the end of the street! Lovely clean room and bathroom. Wonderful helpful staff. Alen gave us his mobile number in case we had any problems and the reception staff gave us excellent recommendations for dinner nearby. One night we asked for a Pizza restaurant, the next night a pasta restaurant and the third night a good place for Lasagne.

The location of the hotel was ideal and the breakfast wonderful. The staff was very kind and helpful for whatever we asked (especially Alen and Donatella). The room was very clean. For our convenience, as we went early in the morning, we were given an early check in to a better room at no extra charge. Overall everything was great and we will definitely stay at the same hotel again on our next visit to Rome.

Unforgettable Roman Retreat Our two-night stay at Hotel Grifo was nothing short of exceptional. The receptionists welcomed us warmly and were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The hotel's prime location within walking distance of the Colosseum and other landmarks made exploring Rome effortless. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a room with a terrace. The room was clean, the mattress comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable stay in Rome.

Location of the hotel is just perfect, very close to major touristic attractions, but at the same time surrounded by high quality local restaurants. Evrything is spotless clean and well managed. It would have been really nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in our room. The shower was so small it was difficult to turn round (plenty of hot water though).

Fantastic location, very clean, ideal base. The staff are a real asset - very friendly and knowledgeable with great recommendations and tips to enhance your visit to Rome. Lovely area with plenty bars and restaurants close at hand.

Location is amazing. All lanes with multiple restaurants. Beside pastas and pizzas I found an indian resaurant MAHARAJA and SUSHI . The people in the loby Allen was amazing with recommendations . The young woman was such a friendly person. Was a great stay.

This was our fourth time for us to stay at the Grifo Hotel. Each time has provided us with excellent service and the staff have gone to every effort to make our stay a worthwhile experience. For us, the hotel stands out as a perfect example of what good service, excellent location and worth should be. This hotel is special and we will continue to stay here during future visits to Rome.

The staff was very attentive and helpful. Alen provided helpful advice after we arrived. Alen also recommended restaurants nearby if we wanted to eat pasta or pizza. We are grateful to him, because with his help we were able to eat amazingly excellent pizza. The breakfast was tasty, with fresh vegetables and fruits. The room was clean and tidy. The hotel was easily accessible, you can easily reach all the sights.
