Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumNo comments.
Location was ideal for visit to the Vatican Museum (2’ walk), to get to the city centre (Bus 492 around the corner took me to the piazza Navona/Pantheon/Campo de Fiori area and to the Barberini Palazzo). Also near metro Ottaviano. Breakfast was reasonably priced at 15 eur and had a good choice of sweet and savory. Bathroom was small but had a great walk in shower, fluffy towels and excellent shampoo and shower gel. Plenty of outlets to charge my devices. Can highly recommend a restaurant nearby, La Locanda di Pietro. Other restaurants nearby as well. Receptionist was very helpful when I had a question about the outlets. No adapter needed for my Belgian chargers.

United States of AmericaBreakfast is as expensive. I don’t remember the price, but 1 person would be hard pressed to eat that much money for breakfast.
The location to Vatican, metro train & restaurants. Hotel was very clean & when asked, given wash cloths.

Best stay we’ve had in a while for a “budget” hotel, didn’t feel like the usual ones in Europe at all. Rooms were big and well equipped with amenities, a mini fridge and others. Location was great and literally minutes from the Vatican or there was a bus stop (Candia) / metro (Cipro) to get to the city centre within 20-30 mins. Staff were amazing and very gracious, knowledgeable as well and always had service with a smile. Ricciardo at the bar was awesome too and gave us jugs of milk for our room for tea and coffee which was a lovely touch. All in all, this was my first stay in a Best Western hotel and I’ll definitely be coming back!

United States of AmericaThe walls were very thin and you could definitely hear the people next to you in other rooms. The bathroom shower drained slowly and always leaked through the doors.
The bedroom was very large and the beds were comfortable. The staff was outstanding and very helpful. The location was fantastic and made walking around and navigating the city easy.

CanadaPrice was a bit steep, but it was a late booking on my part and I was glad they had availability at all.
Location was great. Staff was exceptional. First time in Rome and they were great accommodating early check-in and airport shuttle, and had great restaurant references within walking distance. Very friendly. The hotel was very clean, which I am very particular about.

United States of Americaalthough not in the center of Rome the location is right behind the Vatican City walls and it is very convenient to get into the center of Rome. At first it seemed isolated but that was the best part. We didnt have to deal with the crowds and the bus was a short ride into all the attractions. Also there were a lot of cafes so we had our pick of where to get a coffee and breakfast in the mornings as well as a quick snack in the afternoons. The room was comfortable and clean and staff was especially accommodating and helpful.

PolandThe hotel had praking as assured from Booking, but the staff refers guests to a separate public parking lot, which you have to get to by driving around the entire quarter of the streets, is separately charged and closed at night! The lack of access to the hotel parking lot is inconsistent with the offer. In the room unpleasant smell of air freshener. Dry air in the room. Very slow and small elevator, which with a large number of guests makes it unusable.
Nice room but quite cramped, very comfortable bathroom, but who invented the sliding door in the bathroom! you can hear everything through them! Great breakfast, by Italian standards. Best location.

United KingdomHowever, in the spirit of offering constructive feedback, it's fair to mention that the soundproofing was somewhat lacking. Despite the perk of my room being on the top floor, I found that, come morning, the sound of neighbours leaving their rooms and heading for breakfast was quite audible. It served as an unintended early morning wake-up call, which was a bit of a surprise.
During my stay, the staff were exceptionally polite and welcoming, offering assistance at the drop of a hat. Having stayed here before, I chose this hotel again for its consistent quality, and it didn't disappoint. My room was clean and comfortable, equipped with all the necessary mod cons for a pleasant stay. The hotel's location near the Vatican and St. Peter's Square was incredibly convenient, making it a doddle to access these significant landmarks. In summary, the combination of friendly staff, well-maintained rooms, and proximity to major attractions, along with my previous positive experience, made my visit to Rome absolutely smashing. I highly recommend this hotel.

SwedenI think the breakfast could be expanded to offer a little more cereal, the scrambled eggs were not completely cooked on Wednesday and Thursday of our visit. The TV in the room is a smart TV but could not access wifi. This would be nice so guests could use their own streaming services, or even a chrome cast device would be nice to connect to.
Room was cleaned daily with clean towels. The outside area with hot tubs to relax after walking during the day. Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. The breakfast staff is 5 stars. Garage to park car.
