Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe location, although it is pretty close but at night when you walk back to hotel from shinjuku station, seem very far and dark especially after the busy area..
This hotel room has a very good size for triple bed, but the bathroom probably need some update for the south tower as it is a bit dated and drain seem very slow for whatever reason. Other than that, it is a good hotel

SingaporeHotel was extremely large and extremely busy in the lobby. This didn't bother us as we didn't have breakfast included, but did notice the queue there was very long. WOuld not have been happy had we paid for breakfast included.
Locatoin was very good. Rooms clean, and well sized. Lovely view from top floor lounge.

AustraliaBuffet Dinner was way overpriced - we were really caught out arriving late after big day exploring Tokyo and the buffet was closing soon. We didn't check the price beforehand but only had a very quick, small meal each, for which we paid over 18000 Yen - way to much for what we had, particularly as we arrived near closing.
Location was great

United KingdomIf you're looking for the busy lights and shopping of Shinjuku, that's about a 20 minute walk (west Shinjuku, where the hotel is located, is more quiet than east Shinjuku).
Great location, near Shinjuku station, so it was easy to get around. Great on-site dining options - the teppanyaki restaurant is next level, so definitely check that out if you're able to get a reservation. Rooms were large and had great amenities. Staff were extremely helpful and professional. Finally, there were several convenient bus options - the airport limo bus drops off right at the door of the hotel, and if you're going to Disneyland, there's also a bus that picks up and drops off at the hotel/resort, which was a huge time saver for us.

United States of AmericaWould have liked the cafe restaurant to stay open for casual dinner with the girls. Would have enjoyed a lounge area --- difficult and limited seating in the huge lobby.
Good location for using the local subway. Easy to use the limo bus to return to the airport. Lovely buffet breakfast. Easy to use storage service for luggage while taking side trips. Spacious room for myself and my granddaughters. We had 3 separate beds in our room.

United KingdomThere are great restaurants in the hotel but they are expensive compared to what you can pay for similar food outside. (But there is a good convenience store for snacks etc.) We did use the comfortable lounges for afternoon tea, but these are very heavily used and you cannot book in advance. However I was able to use when I needed to on a couple of occasions.
We were upgraded and the room was very comfortable and spacious. Our outlook was opposite the iconic Tokyo Metropolitan Government building (which is always well sign posted in the nearby enormous Shinjuku station, which makes it easier to find your way back to the hotel.) The location is great for transport links and plenty of eating and shopping opportunities in walking distance. The limousine bus brings you direct from the airport to the hotel, which is a reasonable and comfortable way to start your holiday. However it doesn't do the return journey from the hotel early morning.

United States of AmericaIt is a bit outdated and it doesn’t look as modern but the pros outweighed the cons. I would stay here again.
Amazing location! It is very close to Shinjuku downtown and the train station. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious compared to other hotels in Japan. It was perfect for our family of 3. The hotel offers a direct shuttle to Disneyland. This was very convenient.

United KingdomAll the catering options in the hotel are very expensive. I think an Airbnb with some more utilities in the room is better suited for a family stay. It was also unclear to us that our room didn't include access to the sky plaza so that was disappointing.
The hotel is very impressive and expansive. The room was also really nice with an incredible view. We were in the south tower and looked out straight onto the Government building, which has a nightly light projection show. This started about 15 minutes after we checked in on the first night and it was incredible. We also could see Mt Fuji alongside the government building when it was clear one morning. The hotel is close to Shinjuku station and the expressway airport bus terminal, which the staff helped us out with as we needed to get a 5am bus to the airport. We also used the Disney shuttle bus which worked great. There are some nice places to eat just a couple of streets away and there is a Natural Lawson just nearby which is a great convenience store for those looking for some more vegetarian options.

Connecting rooms, guest rooms were renovated, close to subway station, airport limousine bus picks up from hotel, good WiFi, quality bathroom amenities.
