To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

IndiaThe rooms need a bit of renovation. Some wear and tears are noticeable. It seems the property is quite old from the room furniture. Some upgrades would be nice to see to amplify the experience.
The room size is very good. The rooms have nice balcony and amazing views. Staff is very helpful. Centrally located but the surroundings seem to be bit congested.

Furniture was needs a refresh, kitchen has not a single utensil, plate, etc so couldn't even warm up leftovers in a full size kitchen, which had terrible lighting BTW. AC in one room didn't work well. Just needs an update. I'd say my #1 complaint which others have noted is the cost of drinks at ALL the bars. Sky Bar was fun and worth one cocktail but thats it.
We had a 3 bedroom suite that was very large, fit our family of 5 (all adults) very well, nice views from the balcony, staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was included in our package and was great, very convenient to be able to get a good breakfast before exploring the city, good location close to the BTS station and pier.

IndiaWashing machine in the suite wasn’t working. Wasted half our day. Even after it was changed, the issue wasn’t resolved. Coffee machine wasn’t working properly. When you project yourself as a luxurious and sophisticated property and charge accordingly, then such shortcomings are unpardonable. Also, too many staff around you when in common areas. Intrudes into the guest’s privacy. The lobby had more staff than guests at any given time. Not sure what was their purpose.
