A lot of money has been put into the hotel at the opening to achieve a high standard, which we appreciate. Great vibe! But we all agreed that the existing maintenance could do better. Taps and water outlets are loose, need descaling, bathtubs need proper TLC, etc. (Just food for thought) The room was cleaned, sort of, every day, but I do not think the towels were changed regularly. If they were not supposed to be the guest should be informed.

The hotel staff was lovely, very attentive and helpful. You guys are great! The breakfast was really good - a selection of different Turkish dishes, nice tea and fresh orange juice, and the location of the hotel was perfect. The view from the breakfast floor is spectacular! The coffee at the breakfast is a bit disappointing but the coffee in the lobby coffee shop is superb. Make sure you try it! But I wish they could serve the same at the breakfast up there.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly. They were always so helpful when booking taxi to Airport. The location was so perfect. Ideal location to stay in Istanbul The rooms were lovely. The rooftop view was beautiful. Would strongly recommend. Good value for money.

Everything was nice but need to highlight that the Toilet just have a kind of transparent sliding door, it wasn't a big deal for me but i guess it need to be highlighted in case of a group of friends are travelling together it will be awkward

The hotel is really nice and gives you of the feeling of the ottoman Empire, staff are so kind and helpful and very attentive for any request. Location is superb, my room had 2 windows one directly opposite to Galata Tower and the other one directly opposite to the sea and Hajia Sofia on the other side

The staff is always accommodating at the Daru Sultan. The rooms are large, have ottoman opulence yet also feel inviting. I love the area to walk around- there’s galleries, restaurants and little stores.

We enjoyed out 1st stay in Istanbul at this very nice Hotel. All of staff were friendly, nice and accommodating. Location was convenient for Pera. Taxi was easy to catch. We walked to bridges.

Its an old building so the elevator was a bit old but everything was great the location is worth the stay. The staff very dedicated and nice.

The location is very good as it is in the middle of the turist part of downtown very close to several good sites . The view is also very charming.

Nice decoration and really nicely located close to the GALATA tower. Also have to mention the best reception staff who were always happy to help us with anything we needed (especially Ugur and Hakan) :) also the ladies who served our breakfast were super sweet!
