Absolutely unfriendly lady at check-in reception, made me angry. Hotel itself OK, lady who made the check out was normal and friendly as supposed to when working in hospitality. The lady who checked me in was not friendly at all, haven't had such a bad service experience in a long time. No power sockets near the bed.

No carpet in the room. The hotel office needs a renovation. Needs new couches and furniture, strong musty smell not good.

It is a pretty basic property. A bit dated (Atleast the room we stayed in) but great value. we needed a place to crash after all day activities. This was perfect. The staff were helpful.

There was a spider in the room but I mean it’s natural and they come in from the outside so it’s not a big deal.

Amazing staff would definitely stay here again, perfect location. Pool was definitely worth it. Next time gonna try the restaurant on property.

Hotel circle is around highway and pretty noisy. There is pretty much no walkable way to the city. But Uber is rather cheap and fast for getting around. For people who want to hang out in bars and beaches, I would recommend staying somewhere around beaches.

I can see why families would like to stay around longer. It's private, clean, has large warm pool and few restaurants around. Good value for the money.

Slight clicking noise in the wall behind our beds. The lighting could be abit brighter.

Wonderful staff. The hotel grounds are kept immaculate. Beautiful pool area. Handy laundry area. Our room was a good size for two people. And the waffles were fantastic!

I did not think a $15 per night parking fee was reasonable. Usually downtown city hotels can justify an up-charge like that. There is ample parking on the property.

My son and I had a very nice 2 night stay. The hotel offers easy access to lots of sights in the San Diego area. The pool and hot tub were great for relaxing in the evening after a busy day. Furnishings in the room were updated nicely and it was very convenient to have 2 restaurants at the property.

The main issue is thin walls and/or the door to the next room which should be sealed. There is relatively zero sound isolation so you hear every sentence people are saying next door and even if they are not loud, you hear them walking and such, which disturbs and gives no sense of privacy. Earplugs are necessary for sleeping. Additionally, more tools could be provided if you want to eat breakfast in your room, not the restaurant, since breakfast is not included. I received utensils but they had no plates, but they did provide coffee which was nice :)

The room was clean and quite nice. Design was pleasant, bed was comfortable, wi-fi was stable. The pool seemed really nice, the gym had a selection of free weights which is rare in hotels, which was nice and they had laundry room.

The surprise nightly parking charge, but you need to understand parking is at a premium in San Diego with so many vehicles, so they have to do that to make sure guests have a spot. Would better if it was disclosed with the rate (unless we missed it in the listing).

Property may be a bit older, but don't let that fool you, it's very well maintained and a good value on the rate. Rooms are nice (if a bit on the smaller side), beds comfortable, restaurant on site is a good value (bring a big appetite, portions are generous). Excellent location, central to pretty much everything, and the staff is very friendly.

great location, right off of the highway but close to old town and about a 10 min drive ti SeaWorld. Has a very nice outdoor pool and swirlpool. nice restaurant inside the inn, offers excellent breakfast and great mexican dinner. highly recommend!

Charge for parking?!

Good location, nice room. Wish we would have been given option of two queens or 2 full beds instead of King. Online had same pricing for 1 or 2 beds.
