Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Wifi is very bad. Place is not the cleanest but clean enough to have a comfortable stay.
Perfect Sport for going to Universal Studios, Place was comfortable and clean enough to enjoy the stay.

the safe box didn’t work, the look wasn’t attractive, the swimming pool didn’t look clean, the towels wasn’t of good quality will leave you fuss on the body, the internet didn’t work all the time….etc

Facilities are tired, in need of a major remodel - spent hours working with maintenance trying to get the toilet to flush properly, trim is rusty and chewed-looking, tub is stained. Not much soundproofing. Breakfast cancelled due to Covid.
Price was good, staff was courteous and helpful. Good location.

Roaches and no bath cloths
The location had roaches and did not have any bath cloths. I had to buy towels and bath cloths and some roach spray.

Bathtub was nasty.old cracked and patched , Rooms were dated and sheets were stained. Main Door at 1/2 cab on bottom. Around toilet need cleaned and resealed

toilet room didn’t close properly. room was smelly and there was used towels from past guests inside the wardrobe. Breakfast and shuttle was not available due to COVID.

The trash pickup days was very early and noisy. The price said that include breakfast, no breakfasts included. The extractor fan in the bathroom turned on with the light and was very noisy, it seemed that it had not been cleaned in years.If you travel on a limited budget and want to stay close to Universal to save gas, it's not bad because compared to other nearby hotels the price is not bad, it's just a place to go to sleep.

A few roaches in the room, the lamps were rusty, the sheets had stains. the pillows were kinda wimpy.
great location, the cleaning lady was super friendly, the matress was clean. There's a great little minigolf course nearby, and a walgreens within walking distance.

Front desk staff that checked me in was very unfriendly, without even a fake smile but housekeeping was very friendly and accommodating; Property WiFi aweful in the room; No breakfast as advertised; Toilet moved on floor when used; Bed mattress uncomfortable.

Some of the Pillow cases had stains on them. We ran out of toilet paper and didn't get any. Pretty sure they came in our room while we were gone and the maintenance guy renovating the room was talking crap about us in Spanish because he didn't know we understood what he was saying.

The room smells weird. Shower was difficult to handle, sometimes I had to wait quite some time to get hot water. A/C is noisy and not efficient. TV didnt work. There is no breakfast although it is described as included in the rate. There is no making up of the room. Front desk clerk could be more friendly with the guests.
Well located, near Universal and I-Drive. Room is spacious. Mini fridge worked well. Some good amenities and coffee maker. Affordable

The desk chair seat was shredded, tiles missing in the bathroom, and a weird stain on the curtains. Second room light switch inside the door didn't work

The bathtub in the room is very high and seems dangerous to anyone. Someone could have an accident and slip as there are also no tubes to hold on to when you’re getting out of the tub.
