We were surprised by the size of the room which was noticeably larger than many other similarly priced Japanese hotels. Also, it had a machine in the room itself for trouser presses. And the bathroom was also quite large and Japanese style, so you could take a bath or shower.

The location was the best. Convenient access to trains and other transportation. Walking distance to many local sites as well as shopping and dining. Amenities were excellent, the staff were friendly and understanding.

The view from Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima is stunningly beautiful. We enjoyed it from our room and the Sky Lounge, where we had breakfast during our stay at the hotel. The room is smaller than an average room if you have a couch set up for the third person (or kid) sleeping in the room--and frankly, quite uncomfortable. However, the view from our room makes it up. The breakfast selection is outstanding. If you are too lazy to go out for dinner, the buffet dinner at Sky Lounge also offers a marvelous selection of menus.
