With free parking and WiFi, this hotel is around 20 miles from Oban, where ferries depart to the Isle of Mull. Location is wonderful, nice lake view. We spent only one night there, but the atmosphere was very friendly, dinner and breakfast were tasty, all people were friendly and room was large and comfortable.

Auchendennan FarmSelf Catering Cottages offers a beautiful setting in Arden, a short walk from the shores of Loch Lomond and only 2 miles from Balloch. These charming cottages are purpose-built and have free Wi-Fi. What a gorgeous apartment! Spacious, modern, comfortable, with a terrace/garden out the back. Quiet as it is quite a way off the main road down a driveway. Super value for money. Will definitely stay again. P.S. We left a jacket there and the owner very kindly sent it to us.

The staff was wonderful, and the whole stay was a delight. Inveraray was a pleasant surprise!
