The suite was well equipped with a lovely bath in on bathroom and a shower unit in the other bathroom, there is a separate lounge area with settee, chairs and tv as well as a tv in the bedroom. We parked our car on the Main Street away from the hotel and walked to the hotel,I didn’t fancy driving through a ZTL zone, you do get 15 minutes to drive to the hotel, unload and find a perking spot, down narrow streets to access the hotel. We asked at reception when we booked in where to park and it did take a bit of persistence to get the receptionist to offer directions to the free hotel car park which was located away from the hotel, down hill, the map issued was not very accurate but we found the barrier parking area after a drive around.Radda is a lovely stop off with good restaurants and shops,a fair amount are touristy.

This hotel is in a perfect location. The rooms were big, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom modern and clean. I enjoyed the free indoor (and private) pool, and the terrace off the main lobby overlooking this incredible view with access to a wine dispenser. Staff were nice.

Location next to the charming Radda :) Also we really enjoyed the swimming pool area!
It’s such a gorgeous area to explore. Lots of ancient villages, wineries and stunning scenery! I love Castello di Volpaia. This village has beautiful affordable rooms and apartments and a winery all within its walls. It’s small and unique with four great places to eat.

. Small compact village, with nice array of shops, noticeably helpful shop owners. Plenty of restaurants, particularly given the small village size. Close to rail (about 20 km) which makes it easy to get into Florence.
Close to places like San Giminiano and Siena.

Stefano the general manager was outstanding in his customer service- he even drove me to the town of Radda to shop & enjoy the sites - Dimitsia (not sure I’m spelling that correctly)but she was an angel & helped me in numerous ways- the head waiter & staff Andrea & Veronica were awesome every time I had dinner there - the breakfasts were quite varied and had both the bacon I adore & the yogurt & fruit I needed - it really was a sumptuous spread & Francesca & her crew were wonderful- just an all-Around fabulous place to hang your hat for a week or even a weekend!! Thanks to all of you for making my stay wonderful - many thanks!

Radda is a postcard village for the Chianti region perched on a hilltop with great views. We visited about 15 years ago, and it seems as though it has become ever more touristy and the entire town is one big tourist stop which lacks the authenticity that it may once have been. It's lovely, but almost too lovely and manufactured.

It’s a lovely place and we would return and stay longer. Do need a car otherwise you have to pay more for taxi services as they’re not local. That said staff helped us get to our next location and were very transparent in costs of taxis.
We had a fabulous meal in town a short walk from the hotel. All people we met in shops and restaurants were lovely and welcoming. Do stay here you’ll love it.

This isn’t second stay in Castello di Volpaia . I love that it is small and so ancient. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The village also has a winery and vineyards. There are four restaurants all with great food. I also prefer this village not only for area away from lots of tourists but the views are fabulous. The rooms and apartments are gorgeous with superb views and a wonderful swimming pool with sun until sunset overlooking the valley.
In almost all aspects this hotel exceeded my expectations. It is located in vicarage of old unused church house. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Entire property has consisted design with all furniture and decorations selected with care. Distant from other human settlements, but only 5 min by car from nearest small town – beautiful Radda in Chianti. Very helpful owner and staff.
Very comfortable guesthouse. To say that the view is fantastic is an extreme understatement. Set along side a mountain in the heart of the Chanti region. Warm breeze during the day, cool temperatures at night add to a very enjoyable experience. The hostess is very charming and warm. Breakfast is a fantastic tomato brucheta with coffee. Certainly a place worth returning to.
This place is a magical 13th century property that was luxuriously renovated. We appreciated the care to respect the history of the place while still providing all the best modern amenities, and we were enthralled with the attention to detail. Location and food and service were all excellent. The family is such a welcoming host, we felt like we were staying with friends.
We had high hopes for our stay at the hotel. In fact, this was on my bucket list and I’d finally gotten to stay. The hotel itself is gorgeous - the staff are super friendly and accommodating, the rooms are huge and lovely (we had a spa in our bathroom which was awesome) and the views from our room were beautiful.
It was a pretty hotel (old Tuscan village apartments/rooms) with lovely views from the hotel and the swimming pool. We were upgraded to a larger room on arrival.
One lady at reception was very helpful when we were trying to book a wine tasting and was patient when I attempted to speak a little Italian.
The hotel and facilities were really amazing. Rooms were spacious and well serviced. The pool was perfect with an amazing view. Buffet breakfast was a great option with a lot of variety and a gorgeous view. The staff were very helpful and available to organize reservations as this is a list in Radda
First and foremost: the service. The service is outstanding. Georgia and Gabrielle made sure we had all we needed and put their clients always in first place.
The Chef, without prior notice prepared an exceptional vegetarian dinner for us all.
The hotel is beautiful and surely recommend it.
This beautiful hotel stay in the Chianti region was breathtakingly beautiful. We were in awe of the gorgeous stone walled home, the vineyard and the view of the Tuscan hills.
Cristina and her staff were exceptional. They felt like a family outside of the US.
The place is really nice in the historical part of the village Rada in Chianti. There are a lot of options to park your car, especially when the day tourist are gone. The village is really quiet and beautiful. The hotel has everything that you need.
What an amazing stay in Radda! The hotel was spectacular. We were lucky that our room opened up to the terrace outside. The room was huge and the ambiance was so fairytale-like. Dinner at La Perle was phenomenal.
Location among the tuscan vineyards and with the hotel being a converted manor house, the settings were idyllic. Very nice staff and nice restaurant that needs to be prebooked to avoid disappointment.
Great hotel, lovely staff. The room was very spacious with a huge bed and fireplace. Balcony was lovely. Spa was very nice amd so was the property. Recommended!
The breakfast options were great, the room was comfortable and the actual hotel itself was beautiful. The family and staff were super friendly and helpful.
