Everything! It is such a beautiful place in nature. The diner area is beautiful and the rooms are authentic and cute. The shower is great. Beds are also good. There is a mini fridge in the room. There is a cute terrace and there is a football field for kids. The owners are very friendly. They really want to make sure that everything is perfect. Daniele has great advice for hikes and things to do in the area. Alice is an amazing chef. Everything she makes is magical, as if you’re in a michelin star restaurant. The menu changes often, based on the seasons and products that are available. Their passion is visible and they have a beautiful purpose and goal with the food they serve and what they want to offer with the stay. Don’t let the not paved road scare you, because it is very easy to drive it. The place is not hard to find. Thank you for everything Daniele and Alice, it was a pleasure to be your guests!

It had a great warm atmosphere and it was located in a beautiful square

The property was a good location for what we wanted to do and close to Pisa, Florence etc. The buffet breakfast was good - good selection of fresh fruit, pastries, yoghurts, breads and delicious cakes too! Cappucino's were great. The hotel is rustic, easy to find, lovely and helpful staff.

Mattea welcomed us and did an outstanding job. Additionally Chef Luka did a great cooking class for Julia and I. Fredrico and his colleague in restaurant were very good and professional. And I can’t leave out each morning the welcoming way and delicious breakfast served by the lovely lady.

This is an exceptional stay, located in the picturesque town of Panzano. The rooms, facilities, pool and breakfast were all phenomenal, however the personal hospitality from Christine & John (owners) was a class above. Special shout out to Connie, the in-house cooking class chef who made our stay extra special. Thank you Villa La Petraia for making our vacation so memorable.

It was a very well made hotel. Every corner had attention to detail and was well thought. The staff were amazing and very accommodating!!! Would love to visit again.
