Great city with amazing Art stores, very good restaurants and Cafes, great trails to mtb or hike. We were there for the mtb Cape Epic race and the quality of the trials were superb. Have 1 of the best dinners of our trip and full of wineries too and petit hotels with friendly staff..

If you enjoy wine this is a must destination!
If you enjoy wine this is a must destination! 250+ vineyards most with tasting opportunity and many with great dining! Close to Cape Town and wonderful surrounding country. To enjoy at its best a stay of 4+ nights is best.

This is a grand old house that is best described as well lived in. Needs a bit of updating. The pool needs some attention. Not at all inviting. I don’t understand why they don’t just get an expert in to give it a thorough clean without doing it themselves. The staff are wonderful.

Stellenbosch with its town, restaurants and surrounding wineries are an absolute must while visiting South Africa. If you want a superb steak, go to The Fat Butcher. If you want a superb fish and chips to go Genki. If you want stunning views and great coffee visit Hidden Valley Winery. If you want stunning views and great wine, coffee and food visit Ernie Els Winery.

Every staff member went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and we loved everything including the spacious and well equipped room, lovely bathroom with nice Charlotte Rhys products, daily update on the weather and load-shedding as well as the treat (such a nice touch!), the friendly turn-down service, plus then a great freshly prepared breakfast on top. Can’t recommend this hotel and its team highly enough. Thank you for another superb stay!

The location is about a 10 minute drive from Stellenbosch center away. We did not have a rental car and used uber/taxi which worked (but you’ll have to make sure that they drive over a certain road which can cause delays on a uber app) The hotel has a beautiful view with a nice pool. The staff were exceptional in moving me into the hotel so i could work comfortably. The parking of hte hotel is a real problem. can accommodate 5 very small cars at a push and is not well signposted at all. Ask the staff to stand outside the hotel and show you how to get into the parking.
