Excellent location close to Rijeka and right on the coast. Small apartment had everything you might need. Clean shower room and well equipped kitchen. Lovely outdoor seating area. Free off road parking. Restaurants just down the hill a short walk away. Swimming in the sea near the restaurants.

Great location, parking inside the garden. Everything you would need and even more is there, it was nice to have olive oil and turkish coffee. The decoration was lovely, it was full of owner’s amazing hand paintings. Venice one was our favorite :) the owner himself was also really kind. The beach nearby was small but nice water

You can park your car on the road at the entrance to the accommodation, the road is secondary and there is no traffic, the beach is 5 minutes away, you go down the stairs several times to the nearest beach... of course you can also drive 3 minutes to the first large parking lot... (there are some several along the main road)... 1 euro for an hour ..day ticket 6 euro...then the promenade continues for about 6 km surrounded by a metal fence ..you can enjoy the beautiful view and choose the swimming bay you want, there are many. ..you go down to them by stairs... the beaches are beautiful, the sea is clean, most of them are small pebbly, suitable for children... there are several cafes and restaurants with a beautiful view of Kvarner...AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Kostrena is a small and quiet place, with not many tourists, just as we had hoped. The sea was wonderfully clean and warm. There are several bars/bistros near the beach, and a few fine restaurants in the town itself. The promenade by the sea is beautiful, without the stands and shops that resemble a summer fair in many seaside towns. All in all, a great place for a peaceful family vacation.

Kostrena is a nice town, we stayed not far from the beach (10 minute walk). The beaches are lovely and very clean - but I recommend water shoes because its all stone beaches etc.). You can eat and drink very well in Kostrena - I really can say Value for your money. There is also a nice well stocked supermarket in Kostrena with everything you may need. Loads of holiday apartments etc. which are available for fair prices. We had a lovely stay and would go back to Kostrena anytime.RoyUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Stairs, stairs, stairs.. too much stairs but it´s worth it. Be careful which seaside bar you choose to drink, in some drinks are nearly 50% cheaper than in the others. There are very few ATMs and there are only few places where you can pay with card. Otherwise a beautiful place to stay few days.EErikSlovakia - 10Scored 10

It’s a lovely location, alot of locals with children not too touristy. The beaches were so clean and you could see the fish. The only thing is that we didn’t find many restaurants along the beach only a couple. I would definately go again.

Kostrena is close to all major cities in the area, just minutes from the Rijeka and Optija ( 20min ). hosts very dear people, a warm recommendation for the whole family

The terrace around the apartment allows for great sitting and relaxation, where you can watch beautiful sunsets. The beds were comfortable. In the kitchen you will find everything you need. There is a bar downstairs in the house. There are several beaches within walking distance. You are in the center of Rijeka in about 15 minutes.
