Our room was excellent, facing the road and the mountain/ski slope, with a little balcony. The beds were exceptionally comfy & the staff were very friendly. The spa (jacuzzi, steam, sauna) was a huge bonus after a long day's skiing! Included in our stay, thanks to Booking.com. Lockers for ski equipment were very useful. Close to grocery shops, a few bars and a restaurant.

Amazing location right next to the gondola with lockers and ski shop all within the same complex. The food was great. We opted for half board in the buffet restaurant which had a great variety for breakfast and dinner.
Rooms cleaned every day with a turn down service. Junior Suited are large and spacious for a family of 4. The staff delighted to help at every opportunity, despite it being the final week of the season.

The staff were incredible. Very attentive and helpful. I had emailed the hotel a few times leading up to our visit and they responded promptly and with many helpful suggestions. In addition, the location was perfect and the accommodations were clean and comfortable.

Excellent for a family- some excellent restaurants & very family friendly bars. Apres ski a bit quiet if you were young free & single.
Harp bar excellent - great craic with staff- music twice a day.
A warning for family shusski beside main gondola hired out sleighs for kids to use but you weren’t allowed use them on the slopes beside. No refund when we returned them 2 minutes later- told us there was a place 10 minutes away in a car😡
Fat alberts great restaurant staff & quality food. Bar staff upstairs- well just expect a long wait before you get served🥵

Excellent skiing area.
Excellent skiing area. All staff in the lifts, ski instructors and ski school staff were very friendly. We even had maintenance staff lift deck boards in the eating area to retrieve my daughter’s phone!
Restaurants options are good but bookings are required in peak season. So, spontaneity can be limited.
Only minor criticism would be that the Apres Ski party's can start a little late (around 6 PM). So, hard to go straight from the piste and hard to schedule in if you are staying a bit out of the town centre. We were there during half term though. So perhaps an atmosphere or entertainment starts earlier at other times.

It was my first trip to Soldeu and was surprised by the good service provided. Stayed at the Naudi Hotel which was only a few minutes walk from the lift. Lockers were provided by the Hotel directly at the lift (free of charge). We had dinner at Naudi's one evening and the food was outstanding and can only recommend. Also to recommend is the Michelin Star Japanese Restaurant at the Hotel Hermitage - probably the best Japanese food I ever had.
Soldeu is a very small village but offers everything you need including small grocery stores. Nevertheless I was surprised by the prices which are comparable to swiss skiing areas.
It was definitely a great experience discovering the beautiful slopes and skiing area, but in the future I might still go for Austria or Switzerland. Compared to other skiing areas it was not very international and mostly spanish guests.

Nice mountain little town.
Nice mountain little town. Good to relax and go either skiing or hiking. Enough restaurants and bars to try, some with live music (at least during skiing season).
There’s a couple of clothing shops, 2 little supermarkets and even a pharmacy.
I do miss a bakery.

Great resort. Plenty of runs & lifts.
Great resort. Plenty of runs & lifts. We didn't sample the nightlife, but there were several pubs(some with live music on the weekend) and loads of resturants to choose from. Plenty of shops for groceries, gifts and of course ski gear.

Skiing was extensive and suits all standards.
Skiing was extensive and suits all standards. The hotel is super convenient for the lifts. There are not loads of restaurants in the resort, as it is quite small but the quality is very good. And the sun always shines!
Very cosy and clean 3 bed/2 bath apartment. The kitchen altough small is well stocked, the three bedrooms are very confortable and my children loved the duvets (we live in Miami so it was quite a new thing for them). Both bathrooms are nice and modern and everything worked well. The building is walking distance for everythin in Soldeu. It is a 5 min walk to the main gondola. Top tip: rent a locker at the base by the gondola for your ski stuff. The check in process took 2 minutes with Eugenia, who is literally next door.
- Proximity to Ski Resort: The Xalet Montana Hotel’s location is its biggest advantage. It’s incredibly close to the Soldeu sector of the ski resort, making it very convenient for ski enthusiasts.
- Ski Locker Included: The inclusion of a ski locker within the room cost was a thoughtful and practical touch, adding value to our stay.
- Friendly and Helpful Staff: The staff at Xalet Montana were super friendly and always ready to assist. Their welcoming attitude made our stay more comfortable.
The staff were exceptionally accomodating they go above and beyond for their guests. As beginner skiers it was so handy having the beginner slope outside to practice (all the equipment and lessons are available at the hotel). There is a shuttle bus that they run they load all your equipment, literally drop them a text / whats app and they collect you within 5 minutes from the major slopes (soldeu / el tartar). The spa is also fantastic and very quiet during our stay.
The location is perfect - very close to the ski lift and not far from a very good hiking spot - English Valley.
The room is super cozy and clean, beds are very comfortable, the heating systems makes the room warm so it's a pleasure to stay.
Staff is very helpful and is always there for you.
Breakfast is amazing.
The hotel has it own parking which is very convenient.
This is the second time in consecutive years my son, daughter in law, grandchildren & I have stayed at this hotel.
The staff are lovely, breakfast & dinner buffets are delightful & the hotel & rooms are spotlessly clean.
The complimentary mini bus to the ski lifts is huge plus as is the spa which is available to all residents.
Second time here in the last month. Good hotel, good facilities. Staff is really helpful across all areas, from the reception to the bar to the vans. Great client focus and overall flexibility. Also had a small issue with something at the hotel, but management immediatly took action. Great receptiveness to feedback
The hotel is ok, nothing fancy. If you want to stay in a place just because you get breakfast and then you ski all day, this is the right hotel. But don't expect entretainment or great facilities. You have a bar downstairs that is ok if you want to have a couple of beers, but don't expect a party.
A week of skiing for a family with small children, one of the most unforgettable trip. An excellent hotel, large and comfortable rooms, a wonderful children's room, the most hospitable staff ( fantastic staff!!) and wonderful cuisine. Excellent spa. Highly recommend and will definitely return.
There is an office at the entrance of the building. They are very nice and answer immediately. There is a great heating system but no air condition (for summer). All of the apartments are facing the ski slopes, which give you an amazing vies of nature. There are many walking trails.
Nice family run mountain hotel. Simple but very comfortable, the room was bigger than expected, we had views of the ski slopes, comfortable beds, good bathroom. The buffet breakfast had enough choices. The staff was helpful and friendly. Good enough internet, good heating system.
UK phones do not get internet or cheap service in Andorra, so it would have been good to set up a definite location and time to meet to collect the keys.
The instructions for the location of the apartment could have been clearer, such as "the door is on the main road, block B"
The breakfast was great! Also, we got a room with a very nice view. They have ski lockers so this is just the best hotel for a ski trip, the rental is a few meters from the hotel and the lift are maybe 300 meters from the entrance. Very convenient!
All staff was very nice! The bedroom was really cosy and spacious. Although the hotel is located a bit far from the lifters (specially for skier's) the shuttle services functioned really well.
