Personally, I felt that the things to do in PE are not clearly highlighted to visitors. We are in need of the HOHO buses and venue to remain open longer during summer months. It would be great if some planned walking tours could happen. Security needs to be greatly improved, and tourist 'secure' areas established. There is a need for evening entertainment and more events/ activities. I'm sad to see how Port Elizabeth looked like. Streets have no working robots. Some places no stop signs. I stayed in Port Elizabeth and my heart broke 💔 when I saw the condition it is in now. A City that was once one of the most beautiful destination is now destroyed 😢 If you have no car you can take a Uber. Ate at the Spur but service was not great. I was surprised at how well the city was maintained. Traffic lights were working, potholes repaired, grass cut and it was generally very clean. The beach front and promenade has an array of restaurants ranging from take aways to top tier eateries. I especially enjoyed my dinner at De Kelder. Although my trip was for business I could see there is a lot to do in PE. Might consider making a trip down with the family sometime in the future.Guest review byDerikSouth Africa
