Nice rural location in Ardennes region of northern France. Even though the restaurant is closed on Monday & Tuesday, they do offer a set menu for hotel guests, which worked well for us. The bar portion is open on those days, so enjoyed a beer on the nice warm spring evening. Breakfast was included and was reasonable including eggs made to order along with typical French breakfast items. Bed was comfortable and everything worked. Limited English spoken, but did not have any communication issues.

We were traveling by bicycle and Le Clos Joli is right on the path along the Meuse River. We were able to store our bikes overnight in a garage. Our room,the rose room, was spacious and very comfortable. We looked out onto the river. It was very peaceful to watch the changing light on the river and the forest. The location was one of the most quiet spaces I have been in. The breakfast was delicious. Eggs could be made to order. I require a gluten-free diet and quinoa crisp breads very provided. When I reserved the owner ask for a 48 hour notification so she could provide something gluten-free.

    Haybes is a small city in a very beautiful area. You can walk around in the neighborhood there is a big florets and the flood. there are some very good restaurants but most of them is only open in the summertime In the winter season it's almost dead.

    The staff were super friendly and helpful. The check-in only opens at 6pm when the hotel reception opens but the management sent details on how to access the hotel and our room earlier. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. The manager also helped us to store our bikes safely and cool some drinks in the fridge. The location is very close to the Meuse River and there is a bakery just a few hundred meters away. There was also a fan in the room which is a nice touch when you’re on the top floor!
