Dungarvan is a very nice town with a lovely Square and Pier area with nice Restaurants and Bars. Nice walks and Cycle area in and near the town. The town was easy to get around with not many hills. "The Local" bar served beautiful Sea Food Platters. Most of the people in Dungarvan were friendly and helpful.
Very pleasent surprise in the center of dungarvan. The front room was cozy with TV, table/chairs, sink, fridge (with bottled water and large bowl of creamer) , and kettle with plenty tea and coffee.
The bed room was very spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and a 50/60 in TV that had net flix. WiFi was effortless. Had a great night sleep. The bathroom riviled and upscale hotel. This place is a hidden gem with every shop and amenity in dungarvan just outside the front door.. 😊
Really outstanding B&B. The rooms were very comfortable with lots of nice touches like good teabags and fresh milk (no UHT sachets here!). The breakfast, though, was by far the highlight and was better than what we've had in five-star hotels. Beautifully cooked and prepared with great care, flair and creativity. We came to Dungarvan to eat in a well-known local restaurant the night before, but were even more impressed by the breakfast in the B&B!!
Great location easy access to the town centre with free parking outside. Exceptional quality of decor and facilities in the apartment/rooms. Lovely touches with free tea and coffee facilities. Easy access to the Greenway. Shop and lovely cafe beside townhouse . Our host Lily was available to contact with any queries. Will definitely stay again when visiting Dungarvan.
Fantastic dog friendly Hotel right in the town centre! Staff were just great...Jack, Irene, Eibhlin and of course Declan, the owner, who even let us have our 2 dogs in the pub...we had a great night, great sleep and a lovely breakfast. We will definitely be back! :)
Park at Scanlon’s yard and walk through the laneway which brings you straight out to the Hotel.
Family of 14(8 Adults and 6 Grandchildren) with two 4 bedroom houses
Plenty of space for us all to be together
The upstairs sitting room was great.
Plenty of outside space for the children and playground also free use of the hotel swimming pool which we used most days.
Would definatly return as we all enjoyed our week at the Gold Coast Lodges
Everything was perfect for us, amazing hosts they were so kind, it will a pleasure to come back to this lovely place, great and peaceful location, the viewing is beautiful enjoyable after a long day exploring around, all facilities extremely clean and comfy, delicious breakfast, I can say it was the best B&B we have stayed in Ireland.
Great welcome (as ever) and brilliant location. The apartment was very spacious with a well appointed kitchen. Comfy beds and decent shower. Also very quiet at night too. Dungarvan is a great base for exploring the area and has a a great range of dining and night life catering for all tastes and ages.
This is a gorgeous place to stay, in the perfect location! We stayed in the Double room, it was very pretty, immaculately clean and more spacious in person than it looked online. The shower was powerful and the bed was comfortable too! Whenever we return to Dungarvan we will stay here again.
Everything!
It’s clean, private, and comfortable. The host is the best. We had the best breakfast, really gourmet. The bed is super comfy, and the shower is hot.
We enjoyed walking to town for dinner.
We will return to No. 12 for sure, and recommend a stay at No. 12 without hesitation.
The location of the hotel is brilliant, very handy in the middle of Dungarvan. The car park is around the back so it would have been handy if that had have been explained to me before hand so I could have gone straight there. Overall, fairly happy with everything and would recommend.
Very spacious guesthouse with comfort in mind. So impressed with the gracious host and ideal location. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby as well as trails for walking around the bay. Highly recommend and I will return!
the decor, staff and location were outstanding- pretty, quirky hotel that was very comfortable! A staff member met us at the door and let us in. Very nice people, great place to stay- we will be back!
Comfortable house nestled between the quays and the town square; ideal for anyone staying in Dungarvan. Spacious back garden, soft beds and WiFi make for a pleasant stay. Highly recommend.
very accomodating - we were able to lock our e bikes inside the hotel - huge bonus. Breakfast was ok typical for an included breakfast, location is excellent, staff were very friendly
Room was beautiful and spotless. V comfy bed, better than any hotel bed I've stayed in. Service was great and we had a fabulous breakfast in The Tannery
