The hotel is a beautiful gem in a little town. Nadia, the young woman in the reception, was very nice and kind and provided all the information we needed about the area.
It is a family owned hotel that has a special ambiance and lovely, cozy decor. If you are in the area, I highly recommend staying there.

We did not really have expectations other then good reviews. And they are all true. It's a typical German hotel room. No air-conditioning, but the possibility to just open your windows. It's quiet enough outside. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was simple, but nice. Filter coffee like at my mother. The village of Sommerhaus is great too.
