We like Orihuela and visit the mediaeval market usually visit for few hours the first day! We wanted to stay over to experience longer and evening. There are lots of in interesting buildings in addition to the market The "Easter" museum is fabulous We plan to return another time to watch the Easter parades. We found a nice pub cafe bungee square in town for some lunch in thursday Are in hotel that night And at market Friday

Orihuela is beautiful and kept very clean The beaches are amazing and the variety of shops/ bars/ restaurants is fantastic We stayed at Playamarina 11 rooftop apt and I would highly recommend it We mostly had our breakfast at Milo's just right outside the back gate past the pool area and I would highly recommend it...regular breakfast and you can add say hash browns mushrooms extra toast etc if you, like at a small cost ...delicious! We only discovered they do breakfast near the pool area on our last day so can't comment on that We found Smilimg Jack's pub the best place to have a drink mainly because of the atmosphere great craic and the people who work there they are an amazing bunch with the best welcome ever and make you feel right at home

We found everything we needed very close to our accommodation. Eating out was a must,we had indian food English fish and chips,rib eye steaks fabulus. Aldi supermarket very close good range of whine,nearly all the people we spoke to understood english. We will be booking for 2024. A good distance for Alicante airport.
A good distance for Alicante airport. Not the best laid out of resorts in Spain. Most of the accommodation is a good distance from the one beach and beach is down a steep path from cliff top. There is a nice walk along a promenade which has walk ways down to rocks below. Main strip is not the most scenic, with a fenced off motorway running along side. Took is quite a few goes to find food we liked as most places serving basic but cheap food.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful house that I would highly recommend and was very well equipped, it was a short walk from Villa Martin Plaza approx 12/15 mins stroll and a few doors from an excellent pool area. The double bed was massive and super comfy. The only thing I would recommend is maybe a bottle of water for Sunday arrivals as the shops are shut. I would recommend a car or budget for taxis . The beach is 8€ each way but well worth it !!.. la zenia is a lovely beach, good food, good music. and the airport 60€ . Torrevieja 15€ .

Compact historic area and excellent tourist office. Not surprisingly, very quiet during siesta time, but there is a large mall at the edge of town with chain stores and restaurants (no smoking). If you want a seat in a bar or restaurant at night, leave home early - it was crazy!! Not sure if this was just post-Covid restrictions or a normal event Be aware there are two Orihuelas and the Trip Advisor information is mostly about the other one by the coast (Orihuela Playa/Costa). The old town is very Spanish and inland.

If you have a car, it can remain safely in the underground garage included in the price. Also available large common garden, large swimming pool with heated water, swimming pool with room temperature water, jacuzzi, gym, sauna, ........ . Supervised areas day and night. What more could you want, even if you stay in a hotel you would not have all these advantages !
