I was very impressed in how clean it was. They hadn't rented out this room this year they said but you wouldn't know it. So clean, felt really worm and cozy.

Breakfast was OK. Waffles were a little soggy.
Too much on top, prefer old fashioned butter and maple syrup.

Hope is a great town to visit, I love everything about Rambo so that’s the best place for that! Exploring and chilling around the river is highly recommended.
I was so sad when we found out that Othello Tunnels is permanently close, it was one of the attractions we wanted to visit

We picked Hope as an overnight stop but the setting among the mountains was lovely. The trails within walking distance of our accommodation were beautiful. We walked the section of the trans Canada trial that goes to the Othello tunnels. Unfortunately due to weather damage they were closed for repairs but the walk on the trail itself was well worth it amongst the trees with the river below. Very much worth a couple of day’s walking in the area.

Have stayed in Hope previously for 10 days to work and didn't explore all it has to offer. However, it was a very friendly city and very clean. there are many cool spots to hang out and rivers to sit by.
Had a quick breakfast at Rolly's...great service and good food.

Hope is a nice town where the two highways heading East split. It's a good place to spend a night in transit. Lots of gas stations, fast food, supermarket, some interesting shops, nice art-cinema. Nice view down by the river. Be careful of what motel you choose. Some are good, some are awful.

I have been to and through Hope many times.
I have been to and through Hope many times. For such a lovely location, it is strange they have never tried to "gussy" the town up more. It is dirty, dining is difficult, not much choice and mostly greasy spoon places. The whole look of Hope screams hopeless. Stop for gas, a pee or ice then keep driving.

There was an absolutely fabulous native goods store.
There was an absolutely fabulous native goods store. There were a number of chainsaw wood carvings all around the town, in the park in the middle of town on street corners and various businesses. They were advertising the 40th anniversary of Rambo first blood movie and had plans to do a walkabout for it in October. The park motel was in the centre of town with all the shops in walking distance. The motel staff was friendly and gave excellent service.
Because we were traveling with our dog, we booked a room at the swiss Chalets Motel. It was advertised that the motel is pet friendly. But when we arrived, we didn't get a room with the explanation we should have called ahead to make sure that a pet friendly room is available. The person at the front desk was rude to us and refused to give us any recommendation. He told us he does not know Hope because he just moved there recently. It was not a pleasant experience at all.
Graham is a very hospitable host. He welcomed us as soon as we booked and thanked us after our stay. This B&B is beautifully located on the bank of the Coquihalla River and conveniently close to the Othello Tunnels. There’s a one of a kind outside shower we definitely want to go back and spend some time in! Everything was clean and comfy. Thank you for sharing your unique and unforgettable home with us Graham (and Keeper). We hope we can stay again soon.
As far as I can tell from the reviews of all the motels in Hope--most of them have seen better days. This one was rated best of the bunch. Possible because it is family owned and the husband and wife team work very hard to make your stay a happy one. They even lent me their kettle to make tea. They have just bought the place and I wish them all the best. They have a big job ahead of them
We needed a place to stay in Hope and there wasn't much choice left. The hotel is fine if you need a bed with a bathroom. The matrasses are good, the cushions are not (hard show cushions). There is hot water from the shower. You can walk to the main street of Hope in about 5 minutes, while in one minute you are also back on the highway, so the location is good.
This is a great place to stay. If I was rich enough I would build myself a place like this. It's a bit different from your usual accommodation and we loved it.
Hope town is a few minutes away in the car and there is also easy access to local beauty spots and trails such as Flood Falls and Silver Lake.
Max was helpful and even fixed my glasses for me.
I've stayed in probably a hundred hotels in my life, and the bed was in the top 5 for comfort out of them all. I did not want to get up. The host was super friendly, check in was a piece of cake, the room was nicely decorated and very clean, and it was a great pet friendly hotel. We were very happy and would return again.
Just loved this place, beautiful room (whistler) with breathtaking views. Such a comfortable bed with lovely linen, great shower and a.c.
Pauline the owner was so friendly and welcoming too. Breakfast prepared freshly to order with amazing views. So glad we chose this hotel in Hope and would highly recommend to anyone.
I didn’t stay for breakfast. I needed a place to sleep, it was late and not very good road conditions. I have a puppy with me the owner was very nice and thought my puppy was really big. Lol!
I had the best sleep ever, the bed was to my liking extremely comfortable. I liked the bed. Thank you! I had a nice sleep.
Very helpful staff. The highways were blocked and we were in a jam and couldn't get back to Vancouver. We couldn't get to the hotel until late like 1230am. The manager stayed up and checked in with us which was very kind and i am grateful. Recommend this spot
we got stuck in Hope as the Coquihalla was shut down for the evening -so it was convenient & affordable. clean as it could be for an old motel. staff was nice
Good option in Hope close to the river and center. Clean comfortable rooms with coffee/tea to be made in room. Wifi worked well. Staff friendly and helpful.
